Look, you’re going to be hearing comments like this all the time...
That’s just the kind of mindset where people try to normalize negativity or sickness just because it happens all the time. I guess it's like saying because everyone gets sick, it shouldn't be a big deal. It's a total cop-out, really.
Regarding that whole thing where you’re basically condemned to suffer beforehand... like, being forced through this misery and then eventually dealing with the mental health fallout from it all. I mean, what kind of diagnosis do you actually have, Kenneth Price74?

stop philosophizing. I had to change myself because the healthy people weren't around me.
what deep philosophy is that?☕

Every single one of those moms needs some serious tech training and a designated forum where they can just vent all their frustrations.
hehe, honestly, I’m loving the vibe in here right now!
Who cares what anyone thinks? I'm out of here, and I didn't leave a single mess behind...
🙂
My kids are happy as hell!!!!!!!!

Peter Rodriguez7 said:Dear Megan White4,
Your mother is a TOXIC person. She likely won't ever realize it, which means she isn't going to be the one to change. You are the one who has to do the work on yourself, and honestly, that’s a long road. It would probably be best to pursue some psychotherapy—for your own sake—so you can learn how to actually manage her instability. Don't let her pin her own frustrations on you by making you feel guilty. And please, don't let her walk all over you under the guise of "love." That isn't love; it's just pathological selfishness.

Forget calling her a mother; she's the complete opposite.😠

So, let me get this straight, you just adapted yourself to fit in with sick people?
And now you're actually suggesting other people should do the same thing... 🙏🙏

Yesterday, I asked $67 for gas money because my tank was empty. She immediately started rolling her eyes and complaining about how we can't afford it (though she ended up giving it to me anyway). It’s always the same pattern: suddenly there's no money for basic necessities, yet there's always plenty of cash for her irrational whims and nonsense.

Look, you're 27 years old. Your mother isn't obligated to provide you with housing or food at your age, let alone gas money. Just take the bus. What she chooses to do with her own paycheck is none of your business.
I honestly cannot believe the types of people out there.

So, where are you hiding, @Toco?
Did you finally fix the issue, or what?
Or did your mom catch you venting to the entire internet again?

😕🤷😕

Go Scott!

Are you seriously telling me you're twenty-seven years old and still living at home with your mom? I mean, really? Is there absolutely nothing in your life that's actually under your own control yet?👎

Someone act like they're a hundred.
If they're still in college, where else are they supposed to live, on the street?!!😂
I know people over thirty who still live with their parents.😕

It isn't an issue if he shares an apartment with his mother, provided she is actually on board with the arrangement. The real problem here is that he’s studying at NYU, yet he acts like it's perfectly normal for his mom to foot the bill for his gas. Come on, get serious.

Please, I guess there are way worse things than being a student at 27. 😠He's almost done anyway, 🤣
I know people who haven't even finished their degree by 30 and they're still living in their parents' basement.😕

Just a few more months until graduation—then I can finally get to work. 🙄 )...

Well, damn. If the old folks had actually listened to me instead of following everyone else’s advice back when I was picking a college, I wouldn't be in this mess. They insisted on forcing two failed majors down my throat, effectively wasting four years of my life on nothing. It was all under that classic "we know what's best for you" mentality.

Look, if you had just listened to your gut and picked what you actually wanted... you're still shifting the blame onto them, just like you're doing now with your old job. That mindset isn't going to get you anywhere.

Well, I guess there are worse things than studying something you hate 🤣
I'm planning to enroll in something I actually want and just study until I'm 30 😂😂

So, what major are you finishing?!!! 😉

You wouldn't believe it, but there are actually parents out there who 'force' their kids into majors they have zero interest in...

Look, I'm not saying he's lying—it's just that his perspective is skewed. It’s a bit naive, honestly.

It’s just childish, I guess, when you try to shift all the blame onto someone else...
but, if they're actually telling the truth, then denying what happened would be just as bad...
don't you think?
