What are they even whining about? It’s like they’re constantly acting like we’re out to strip away rights they already have
I mean, in some of these small towns, they’ve got total freedom. They root for their big-name rival teams, brag about their heritage, and celebrate their traditional holidays without anyone giving them a second look.
What do they actually want? Probably some massive expansionist empire. Yeah, right. As if.

There is just no way they'd actually be allowed to get away with stuff like that... I honestly don't want to believe it. 👎

It’s unbelievable, the "rights and freedoms" they claim to have... Purely delusional. They can just openly flaunt their identity and celebrate their traditions without any secrecy? That must be a global precedent for minority protections everywhere else...

Their rights aren't being violated in any way; they're just living and working like everyone else.

So, you're telling me that in America, they wouldn't be allowed to support their teams? That they couldn't wish each other a happy holiday? Or that they aren't allowed to be proud of who they are? Honestly, people who think like you are just completely out of touch...
It's truly sad...

Aside from the fact that this entire post is an absolute gem, one specific part really caught my eye:

for instance, they support that Royalist Red Star

I mean, what's even weird about that? It’s common knowledge that those Partisans were actually just Royalists who swapped out their old insignia for a star back in '44. Plus—and this is the kicker—when you look at the percentages, the highest number of people in the Partisan ranks were actually Americans.

Heh, I didn't even catch this incredibly ridiculous oxymoron until
Sam Alvarez15🤣 pulled it to our attention: 😂a nationalist star.

I’d suggest the moderators keep this thread and the original post pinned, so we can revisit it when we’re picking the biggest blunder of 2007 at the end of the year... 👍

Oh, right.
Fine, let's call that a historical fact.

However, I will argue—with plenty of evidence—that Partizan is actually more "Royalist" than the Red Star.
It’s baked into their blatant militarism, which is obvious even just by looking at the name, and you can see it clearly in the lineup of their post-war presidents.

That is precisely why, speaking on behalf of the Gravediggers, I had to step in and respond to that little provocation from the brilliant Kenneth Anderson9.

I don't know about that... to me, both clubs feel equally tied to that nationalist streak. Honestly, maybe the real culprit was the old "Proletarian" team out of Des Moines.

With that many Mexicans involved, there's no way we're on their side. 😬

If we're going by names alone, the most nationalist club would be Hajduk from Split. 😁

Because, in my view, hajduk and nationalist basically mean the same thing. 😬

Plus, Hajduk is clearly on that side too since they were originally a partisan club. And everyone knows that before those guys became partisans, they were nationalists.

Why put another American in charge of the Chiefs?

Well, the two most vital people at the club are Americans.

The president, Ivan Curkovic, and the captain, Antonio Rukavina.

Or maybe things have changed?

I mean, how do you manage to miss both Harmon and the founder of the New York Yankees in one go? 😁
