Hey, does anyone happen to have a schedule for the fair?
I’ve been poking around online, but everything I find is just super vague about what's happening, and I can't seem to find an actual timetable anywhere.

Also, did anyone actually make it out to the first fair last year? I'd love to hear how it went.

I might just pull the trigger on these 99 miles if you think it's worth it. Maybe I'll even grab a Starbucks while I'm at it, haha.

It looks like things aren't really getting organized over on the Starbucks thread, so if people are interested, maybe we should just head over there instead! 🙂

They put a schedule up a few days ago. Just Google "wedding expo in Chicago 2008" and it should pop right up. Anyway, it's open today from 12 to 7, then tomorrow and Sunday from 10 to 7...

Hey ladies! I’m so jealous you all get to go to the trade show. Please, please, please post updates if you see anything cool or interesting while you're there! I actually have a few questions for you Midwest girls. I'm looking to rent out wine glasses, white chair covers, and even some actual chairs (haha)... but the catch is I need about 350 of everything—glasses, covers, chairs... ugh. Where on earth can I find that kind of inventory? My wedding is still six months away, but my head, my stomach, my whole body is already feeling the stress of it all, though I guess deep down I'm enjoying the madness too...:-

hiddenrider6, I actually went last year. It was pretty decent! It was fun catching the fashion show, and they had some giveaways too. There were plenty of booths set up—everything from invitations and thank-you notes to cakes and pastries. You’ll see local restaurants promoting themselves, along with tent rental companies, limo services, bridal boutiques, photographers... it's a really nice way to spend an afternoon walking around.
Just bring Jane along if you decide to go. She already has my cell number.
I'll try to snap a few photos, but I can't promise anything—I don't want anyone coming after me for failing to deliver on my word! 😂

😵😵😵 I actually checked those pages earlier, but I guess I just didn't scroll all the way down!

Thanks so much, dear! 🙂

I guess things didn't quite work out like we planned, since she was supposed to come over this Sunday, but it sounds like some other stuff came up, so I'm thinking she might not even make it out to Indianapolis after all.

I guess my whole philosophy is just going to be this: I'll keep my voice down and always make sure I have my camera on me. 😉

I'm thinking about heading over to grab a coffee in the Midwest, maybe some of the girls will be around then too, I guess.

Here are a few more photos for you all.
Some of them might look pretty similar to the ones wanderinghawk99 snapped, but that’s just what happens when we’re working with the exact same models. 😛
Enjoy!

I’m currently neck-deep in the middle of hunting down everything on my wedding checklist.
Maybe I’m getting a bit ahead of myself since the big day isn't until October 18th, but I figured I'd start early. If anyone could point me toward some interesting or budget-friendly spots around the Virovitica County area, I would really appreciate it—honestly, managing the finances is definitely my weak spot.

Thanks so much for any help you can give!

Can anyone point me toward a solid catering company in Indianapolis and give me a rough idea of what I'm looking at for pricing?

I'm based out of Indianapolis, so I was wondering if anyone knows where I can rent some chair covers around here and what the damage usually looks like for pricing. thanks!!!

I’d suggest looking into the Caravan restaurant; they have my full endorsement. While I can't speak to their specific wedding packages, I've worked with them several times through my company, and the food is consistently excellent. They tend to go above and beyond when it comes to service, and they do it all at a very reasonable price point. Everything is negotiable, whether you're trying to nail down a specific menu or work within a strict budget.

I haven't factored the appetizers into my budget yet since we’re handling those ourselves. Honestly, I can't decide if it's actually worth hiring a catering company or if I should just hit up Costco and DIY the whole spread. We're looking at enough apps for about 180 people total between his crowd and mine. If anyone out there has actually done this before... pleaseeeeeee let me know!!! thanks

Has anyone here actually been to those two salons over in Virovitica County, Hollywood or Eve? I'm curious to hear what your experiences were like.

I think I finally found "the one," what do you guys think?
I was just hanging out over in Hollywood and then swung by Eve’s place, and honestly, both spots had some really solid options, though the pricing and the whole vibe of the service were pretty different between the two.
At the Hollywood shop, the girl working there was just incredibly sweet—she went totally above and beyond, giving me all these extra little tips about things I hadn't even thought of besides just the dress itself, and their collection is gorgeous and actually reasonably priced too.

The showroom is just stunning, seriously, they have such beautiful pieces in there and the whole atmosphere of the boutique is just so charming.

Take a look at what I'm leaning towards!

It’s killer. I’m obsessed with dresses like this (mine was pretty much the same). Even talked my bridesmaid into going with something similar.
