Now, correct me if I’m wrong here—I think Cibalia Photography has a shop somewhere over near Glagoljaska in Indianapolis or somewhere close by, right? Honestly, whatever they had out in the window didn't do much for me—though that might just be the result of looking at way too many photos online, both local and international 🤣.

In the Indianapolis area, if you ask me, Cibalia Photography gives you the best bang for your buck.

I ended up renting mine at an upscale boutique over in Indianapolis...😍 I honestly have to give a huge shout-out to the ladies there for being so incredibly patient and kind! They were just so sweet and stayed remarkably calm, even though the salon was absolutely packed with clients right before and after my appointment!

Either I’ve completely lost my mind, or it’s somehow both St. Patrick’s Day and a total blowout at the same time.

To be honest, I wasn't really feeling that neckline style when I saw it on models before—it just didn't click for me—but on you? It actually looks amazing. How much did it set you back, and how's the comfort level throughout the day?

$1200, I honestly think this is only the third time someone’s even worn it... though I can't be entirely certain. But you know what? It doesn't even matter to me! It feels absolutely brand new, and I couldn't care less if it’s supposedly "well-loved" 😁 just because it’s been out a few times already! Honestly, I felt absolutely stunning while wearing it! 😍

Go girl, at the end of the day, all that matters is if you're happy with it. From what I can gather by reading through your posts, you're from somewhere out in the Midwest, right?

Has anyone ever hosted a wedding at that boutique hotel over on Main Street? I was just checking out their website yesterday—it looks gorgeous, seriously, but I’m a little tripped up by the layout. Apparently, they have these glass doors that can partition off different areas. I really don't want my guests feeling like they're stuck in some separate little corner away from the party, you know? If you've been there or heard anything through the grapevine, please let me know. Also, how’s the food and service? Is it actually top-tier?

I’m looking to branch out since the prices around here are absolutely insane—I honestly have no clue what the standard rate even is anymore. I actually really dig Isabelle over on Republic Avenue; they carry that Sposin collection, so if anyone knows of somewhere else with a similar vibe, please let me know!

You'll find much better deals down in Phoenix.

So, an acquaintance of mine over in Des Moines actually rented their tables and chairs from this venue here

maybe check their site and see if they still do rentals.

Honestly, that place is pretty solid. Don't sweat the partitions too much—it's really not a big deal because once those dividers are all set up, you barely even notice them. The food is great and the service is usually pretty snappy. My only heads-up is that the owner can be a little intense; she definitely tries to push her own vision onto things, though I suppose that could actually be a plus if you aren't quite sure what you want.
They also have plenty of private parking and nice rooms available.

Anyone here dealt with a slaughterhouse out in a small town in Kansas lately?

Honestly, it’s actually pretty decent. They just finished up some renovations recently, so it looks great, and I don't think their prices are out of line at all.
I'm heading out that way in June, so I should be able to give you a proper, firsthand review once I'm actually there.

...The wedding is set for October 17th, and we still haven't booked a band. Everyone keeps telling me we’re running out of time, but we’ve hit a bit of a logistical wall since we aren't actually living in the Midwest—which is where the ceremony is taking place. Every single band we've contacted refuses to send over a demo, a CD, or even a digital recording so we can actually hear them. It feels incredibly reckless to book someone blindly, especially when we're about to hand over a significant amount of money; it's only common sense to vet them first. To make matters more complicated, I grew up in the Midwest while my fiancé is from a small coastal town in California, so he's naturally a bit skeptical about whether a band from the heartland can pull off the specific songs he's looking for. If anyone knows a reliable band from the Midwest or could pass along a contact number, please let me know before I completely lose my mind...😲

It seems you’re becoming quite clear about exactly what kind of music you want played and just how much you're willing to fork over for it. I suppose there's a reason people say you get exactly what you pay for, if you catch my drift.

From what I’ve gathered through various conversations, people seem to be asking anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000. We’re sitting somewhere in that same ballpark, which is fine, though I’ll admit I’d much prefer if they were more budget-friendly... but if I’m going to shell out that kind of cash, I at least want to ensure they're actually worth the investment...😉

and honestly, it’s pretty tough to find a decent band on short notice... I’m just playing backup. Sax player, and we play just about everything except that cheesy country stuff

Warm regards! Just so you know, I'm originally from Memphis. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, I really have to tell you about this one shop called Anna. It's right near the Mississippi River hotel, and their prices are actually pretty reasonable compared to most other places. Plus, they carry those Sposin dresses you like—they aren't actually an ISABELLE shop. She's really just the distributor for certain brands across the Midwest and Napa Valley. Honestly, make the trip down to Memphis; I don't think you'll regret it! Cheers!🙄

I just caught your post—and yeah, regarding the prices, I totally agree; I've heard that boutique is quite affordable. But could you please explain what you mean about Isabelle? 🙄, I actually went ahead and checked out her website, and there isn't any mention of Sposin anywhere. In fact, they specifically highlight that they carry Demetrios, Maggie Sottero, Pronovias, San Patrick, and CosmoBella. 🙂
