God, I need some help here....

I’m getting married on August 7th over in Zupanja.... Looking for a decent band that actually has a massive repertoire—stuff like party hits, rock, country, whatever.... Anyone got any leads???? 🙏

Thanks in advance 😉

One more thing... does anyone know anything about that band Angels from Zupanja? Tell me straight, what are they actually like?

cosmicmarlin20 is probably not your best bet if you're looking to rent, but if you're actually planning on buying, you should check out Vigus

If I can offer one small piece of advice, please DO NOT rent from that guy over in Bunardžija from Rockville. His tents are absolutely covered in mold—honestly, the only thing about his service that's actually "cheap" is the quality!

Well, I actually did reach out to some people in Rockville. That guy is slightly cheaper than the rest, but I can't even remember his name. Besides, they don't really have much of an inventory for tents anyway, and their prices are just... ugh, yikes...

Now I'm seriously worried about this whole >mold< situation,,, man, what a mess...😢

Guess I'll just have to keep looking ☕

Look, I’ve got a number for someone out in Des Moines if that actually means anything to you—I can shoot it over to your inbox if you want it.
That was given to me by Kimberly Kern2. She just tied the knot recently, so you could always go ahead and ask her yourself how the whole thing went.

Well, I'm back...
I really hope Sarah Taylor4 gave you his number so you can just reach out and get it sorted. Honestly, my memory is shot—I can't even remember what kind of budget we were looking at anymore.
Regarding the tent, it’s white and comes in various sizes, but let's be real: a tent is just a tent.
That said, we paired the tent with one of those pavilions, and if you aren't expecting a massive crowd, I cannot recommend that enough. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Honestly, I can't recommend them enough; you can pretty much work out any detail regarding the sets with them. They played the entire night—they actually didn't even want to stop playing during dinner! Eventually, my dad had to practically beg them to sit down for a bite to eat. Personally, I thought they were fantastic and they created such a wonderful atmosphere. They even played for us earlier during the procession. They hung out by the groom first, then came over to my side, and once we started heading toward the chapel, they headed off to the hotel to change and get ready for the next part.

Are they a country band or something? Where can I find a recording of them? I need a band ASAP. I was looking at Vox because they mix electronic stuff with traditional instruments and have a huge repertoire, but no luck so far...

Seriously though, does anyone know where—or even if it's possible—to order chair covers online? I'm based out in the Midwest, and I've got this wedding coming up... The chairs themselves are actually really pretty... they're wooden and well-crafted... but now I'm torn between buying actual seat cushions or just trying to go with chair covers... Covers feel a bit more formal, I guess, but whatever is faster and won't break the bank is what I'm leaning toward...

Can anyone please help me out here?? 😉😉

Thanks a million!!

I highly recommend her. My only issue was that whenever I tried to call her back for other weddings I attended, she was already booked up. However, she recommended two other girls to me, and I actually still use one of them for important events today. If anyone needs her number, just send me a DM...

Could you please send me Helen's number? Thanks so much

I feel kind of stupid asking, but what exactly is a pavilion???

I'm thinking about having maybe 50-60 people for lunch—just immediate family and close friends... mostly so my time isn't wasted waiting for everyone to show up and "find me"...🙂

Think of it like those decorative garden canopies you see at fancy outdoor weddings—not quite a flat tent, more like a circular gazebo setup. The catch? It’s way less stable. If a sudden storm rolls through, the whole thing is basically toast. Plus, it's a hell of a lot smaller than a standard shelter.

Having Vigus, I believe they offer a pavilion for about $233, though it doesn't come with any cutlery, benches, or tables included. If you happen to have someone you can borrow dishes from (assuming you're hosting lunch at home!) and can source your own tables and benches, then that Vigus option would actually be wonderful for you... even if it isn't the absolute newest model on the market, it is certainly a step up from that one in Rockville... honestly, I wouldn't touch that one even in my wildest dreams. I went through such an ordeal with it; in the end, I ended up buying white and red fabric and had my dear aunt hang it all across the "ceiling" of the tent to camouflage everything a bit. I even used some tablecloths lent to me by my mother-in-law's sister to cover the benches, which finally made the whole thing look somewhat presentable. By the time we realized it was moldy, it was already too late to cancel because we had already paid the $33 deposit... In the end, it didn't just cost me 600, it ended up being $300 once I factored in all the fabric and extra supplies...

I actually dealt with some folks from Smalltown, USA once and I was super happy with them. If I recall correctly, the setup had these two little towers and the footprint was about 5x7m.
I know for a fact they were cheaper than the options from General Motors, but I can't quite remember the exact price tag.
Back then, they weren't offering tables or dinnerware sets, but I'm pretty sure they were looking to expand into that kind of stuff. If you want, I can try to track down their number for you?

Hey! I actually rented a tent for about 80 people—complete setup with white tables and benches, roughly 10x4.5m, everything included for $233, plus they handled delivery and assembly... went through Miller's outfit over in Rural County near Indianapolis. If you want their info, I can shoot you a DM.

Can someone tell me what makes the pastries from B.Grede actually special? Or wait, if I remember right, they aren't even from B.Grede, they’re from Rural County nearby. How much does a kilo cost, can you pick out specific flavors, and do they do standard cakes as well as wedding tiers? What are we looking at price-wise?
