Wow, I’m usually not much of a red fan, but man, this is incredible—honestly, it’s almost too good.

I’m with you. The room looks incredible, but let's be real—it’s pricey. This isn't for everyone; you definitely need deep pockets for this one.👎👎👎

How much are we talking? 🤷 Because honestly, once I hear the number, I’m just going to sit here in silence. 😂

I don't know the exact price tag, but I'm betting it's enough to make you fall flat on your face. 😂
I'm at the Marriott. $83 With your pork and lamb, you might as well serve it in a shot glass. $83 All of their stuff—both the cookies and the cake—is just Zelekrov 220 or nothing. $77 First course is included; you pay extra for the second round: shepherd's stew. $10 Personally, I’d go with the pork or the lamb. $5.00 When it comes to personal service...
So, if I'm reading this right, that spot in the Ozarks is going to be even more expensive since it's actually a hotel. 🤷

Ugh, you basically end up paying for both $43 and all your food and drinks 😁

Adding my two cents about the ballroom at Patriotism Inc. I was there last weekend for a wedding and man, that hall is stunning. Honestly? The rooms were even better. 😍

Check out these shots of the hall in Smalltown, USA (just outside of Indianapolis). The place is called
Vance Center and it can squeeze in about 400 people. I was at a wedding there just three weeks ago and honestly, it wasn't bad... service was fine, the AC actually works, and the food was decent enough.
My one real beef: those chairs are way too small, like, they're just too short...

Arthur Johnson47 said:Has anyone actually used the catering services over at Freedom Hall for a wedding before????

People around here usually just call that place "The Tin Can," probably because of the metal roof or whatever... 😂
Anyway, the last time I was there was about two years ago. It’s not a bad spot, definitely big enough to fit a crowd of like 350 guests without feeling totally cramped...
As for what they charge, I haven't a clue. 🤷The service itself was pretty solid, though a friend of mine who hosted her wedding there
actually ended up hiring her own separate waitstaff outside of their standard package...
But honestly, the food? No complaints there... ☕

Has anyone actually eaten at the White House restaurant over in Unknown Town? Any reviews?

I haven't been following the thread since the very beginning, so I might have missed it if it was already discussed, but has anyone here actually had Jane from the Miss America Organization studio in Indianapolis do their makeup? If so, what was your experience like working with her?

Thanks in advance!

Henry Thompson5 said:Hey! I actually rented a tent for about 80 people—complete setup with white tables and benches, roughly 10x4.5m, everything included for $233, plus they handled delivery and assembly... went through Miller's outfit over in Rural County near Indianapolis. If you want their info, I can shoot you a DM.

Yeah, definitely 🙂

placidsurfer15 said:I actually dealt with some folks from Smalltown, USA once and I was super happy with them. If I recall correctly, the setup had these two little towers and the footprint was about 5x7m.
I know for a fact they were cheaper than the options from General Motors, but I can't quite remember the exact price tag.
Back then, they weren't offering tables or dinnerware sets, but I'm pretty sure they were looking to expand into that kind of stuff. If you want, I can try to track down their number for you?

I'm out here collecting every contact I can find... once I hunt down the best deal, I'll let you know.🙂

Mia isn't the top tier anymore; the Hilton has officially taken that title. I put down a deposit for Mia last year, but once the Hilton opened up this season, I switched gears—it's way nicer and much larger. My only headache was the owner at Mia when I canceled; I think he’s still salty about keeping my $200 deposit, and he was honestly pretty unpleasant about it.👎 He told me everything. Honestly, I probably should have just kept my mouth shut.
Mia makes $2,700 while Nicole pulls in $2,900, but since Nicole doesn't expect you to show up with your own dish soap and toilet paper—because who actually has time for that?—it’s basically a wash. Plus, Nicole lets you decorate with white walls, whereas Mia’s stuck with burgundy. My only real gripe with Nicole is that the servers are pretty green.

I’ve read through so many interesting ideas, but my main concern is that it feels like everything you could possibly need is located in New York City.

You might be mistaken there. I'm from a smaller city, my groom is from Indianapolis, and we managed to pick up absolutely everything locally. So, while you might be right if you're looking for a specific high-end hotel they have that we don't, Osage City actually has everything on your list. We picked some things up in Indy and others closer to home depending on the price, and for a few special items, we actually drove across the border—we found stuff there that was three times cheaper! Honestly, New York City isn't the center of the universe for wedding shopping.
