Since when was Mia's price $2,500? I put down my deposit for it last year at $2,300..

It doesn't matter. I haven't been to the new hall personally, but I've seen the photos. Everything is white and the space is massive. Anything you put on the tables would need to be huge, otherwise, the whole thing looks sterile. A friend attended a wedding there and her only comment was that she kept waiting for a nurse to roll by with medication. I don't know. Mia feels warmer to me. Thatโ€™s why I chose her. Everyone has their own preference.๐Ÿ™‚

And just to be clear, I am not criticizing anyone or anyone's taste. I am simply stating my opinion.

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone here has ever hosted a wedding at the venue in Lucy over in Indianapolis? Weโ€™ve already put down a reservation, but we haven't actually sat down to hammer out all the specifics yet. All we know for sure is that we're going with their full package, so I wanted to see if anyone has first-hand experience working with them? Specifically, I'm curious about things like the food portions, whether they swap out the platters once people start finishing up, how the service staff is, and just the general vibe.

Oh honey, they are absolutely out of their minds. They just hike up the prices every single year.๐Ÿ‘Ž I used a local caterer a couple of years backโ€”my friend paid him $1,700, then I booked him last year for $2,000, and then I hear he bumped it up again to like $2,200 or $2,300...๐Ÿ™„ And who knows how much it'll be now that he's renovated the hall and launched a website. I'm positive the price is going through the roof again. Good grief, you better get married ASAP because in a few years, nobody's going to have enough cash to pay for any of this, haha.

Great, another girl from the Midwest. ๐Ÿ˜

Just shoot Jane a private message; she got married there this month and used them for her ๐Ÿ˜

Hey! Sorry, I totally blanked on this one for a second. Weโ€™re actually having the party at the Valentino ballroom over in Indianapolis. The groom is from New York City and I'm from the Midwest. The hall ended up costing us about $1,500 total, and it fits around 300 to 350 guests. We put down a $250 deposit, and we'll settle the rest after the wedding. That price includes the servers and the cooks, too, so it feels like a pretty good deal.
The big day is October 3rd.๐Ÿ‘

Joshua Anderson30, is that joke happening out in the Midwest? Somewhere near the exit from Indianapolis heading toward Memphis?

Does anyone happen to have photos from the fair up at the exhibition grounds in Memphis? I'm also curious about what the prices are looking like...

Are you talking about that hall near the exit from Memphis toward Nashville?

God, looking at these hall rental prices is actually insane! Thereโ€™s a venue near my place that holds about 400 people for just $1333. They only charge for the spaceโ€”no fancy chairs, just benchesโ€”but it works! Still, 2500 bucks ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Yeah, yeah, it's definitely in the Midwest. If you're coming in from the interstate toward Memphis, you just take an immediate right off the ramp. We're pretty happy with both the food and the prices, so we'll see how the service holds up when we head there this Saturday.๐Ÿ˜‚

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos on handโ€”but from what I've heard, the cost is roughly $67, maybe even a bit more. To make matters worse, there were plenty of unhappy guests in that hall, and honestly, the service just doesn't justify the price tag at all. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone here has held a wedding ceremony at an unknown venue in an unknown area... if you have any impressions to share, I would be most grateful ๐Ÿ™‚

Thereโ€™s a ton of stuff available out in the Midwestโ€”Vigus carries the whole catalog, and honestly, that photographer from Osijek offers just about the same thing.

If you're looking for wedding invitation ideas, check out some of the stuff from Atelier Stefaniโ€”theyโ€™ve got everything from invite layouts to floral arrangements. Seriously, Izabela Weddings has a massive selection if you need inspiration.

I can't believe I'm even seeing this. Itโ€™s like people just refuse to look at the facts right in front of them. Honestly, how many times do we have to go over the same arguments before it finally sinks in? It's exhausting.
I can't believe I'm even seeing this right now. Seriously? This is exactly what I was talking about! Itโ€™s the same old story every single time, and people just act like itโ€™s totally fine. Itโ€™s frustrating, honestly. How many times does this have to happen before someone actually steps up and says something? We see these patterns repeating over and over, and it feels like we're all just spinning our wheels while nothing ever changes. Itโ€™s exhausting to watch. kaลพe:
Hey everyone!
Finally, Iโ€™m joining the fray!๐Ÿ™‚
I've been reading through all these interesting ideas, but there's one massive catch: almost everything useful is concentrated in New York City.

Youโ€™re totally off base. Iโ€™m from the Midwest, my groom is from a small town in Indiana, and we sourced pretty much everything locally. If youโ€™re claiming that everything you need can only be found in New York City, maybe you're right if you're looking for some high-end boutique hotel they have there that we don't have hereโ€”but otherwise, my hometown has everything on your list. We picked up some things in a nearby suburb, some in our own city depending on the price, and for certain items, we actually drove across the border to Mexico where we ended up paying three times less. New York City isn't the center of the universe.

While I will concede that his photographic quality surpasses anyone else in the local area, his level of creativity is, quite frankly, non-existent. It leaves much to be desired. I find myself wondering where exactly he resides these days. And as for his arrogance? There is truly no point in discussing it; it is quite overwhelming. Still, I suppose one must take what they can get. He is certainly an improvement over the rest of them, most of whom produce nothing but dark, blurry shots taken from the most bizarre angles imaginable.

that photo studio in small-town Ohio is actually great

Hey everyone... I wasn't really sure where else to ask, but I figured I'd drop this here since it's mostly just people from the Midwest hanging out ๐Ÿ™‚

Does anyone have any solid recommendations for a wedding makeup artist or hair stylist in Indianapolis? Honestly, I have zero clue where to even start looking :P
