Listen, dear, if you're looking to plan something in America—especially out in the Midwest—and you haven't booked everything a full year in advance, you're going to have a very hard time finding an open slot. We're talking the venue, the photographer, the band, even the officiant... everything is booked solid.

In case anyone is looking for a venue, there’s a new banquet hall opening up over in Kutjevo soon. I actually have my own wedding booked there for this October. If you need any more details or want the scoop, just shoot me a DM.

Honestly, don't even sweat the reservations out in the Midwest. We just got engaged and already booked everything—we're even bringing a videographer along this week, so yeah, we're set. I guess we did pick an "unpopular" month for weddings, though... December. So there's plenty of room. It’s Advent, sure, but since the first and last weekends aren't part of it, you can pretty much do whatever you want. 😍
From what I know, the first month is actually pretty wide open, and some dates in November are chill too.

Hey guys, I'm on the hunt for a cool cafe or a little restaurant in Indianapolis where I can rent out the space for an informal post-wedding bash for some friends. My main thing? I really want somewhere with a patio, a backyard, or maybe even a little lawn area. I’d love to keep the whole vibe outdoors, but obviously, if it starts pouring, I need a solid indoor backup plan. If anyone has any leads, pleeeeease🙂 let me know. Seriously, throw any ideas my way. No huge rush since the wedding isn't until June 2008.

Facts. We went to book a venue in Indianapolis just last month and literally every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is booked up until November of next year. Only one random Saturday was actually open, and it was the same story with the bands and photographers we wanted. I guess he was talking about us.

Both options are on the table! Honestly, if they serve decent food, that’s even better. But hey, even if they don't, it’s not a dealbreaker—Carina does killer catering. Personally? I’d love to do this out on some big lawn. Trina has plenty of space, but the weather is the real headache here. This recent weather has been absolutely insane and totally unpredictable. My first thought was actually to host both the wedding and the party out in Napa Valley by a pool (since they have an indoor hall too), but I haven't confirmed anything yet. Depending on how things shake out, I might just have to find something right here in the city.

Oh, I totally forgot to mention—we’re looking at a max of 50 people.

Napa Valley would be a total winner for you

I was at dinner at a local bistro last night and saw they rent out their hall for $333. The place isn't exactly high-end or anything, but the view of the river is killer at night and the food? Absolutely amazing.

Due to an abrupt wedding cancellation scheduled for September 1st, 2007, I am looking to reassign a fully booked and prepaid package. This includes the newly renovated Đeram Hall in Sonoma, which is reserved for 200 guests—though that headcount can be adjusted. The arrangement covers two dinners plus Sunday lunch at the agreed rate of $28 per person. A premier local band is already secured; they are easily one of the best in the area and will play whatever the couple requests. The florist is also set, handling all deliveries to both the venue and the couple's home, including full setup and decoration. Catering includes pre-ordered desserts delivered straight to the hall: we have 10 cakes plus a wedding cake and 40 kg of assorted pastries, though quantities can be modified, and I’ll even provide the dessert boxes. For photography, we have Foto Krešo, who will guide the couple through all the traditional formalities. Please note that invitations and thank-you cards are not included in this price.
The wedding dress has been selected and reserved at Nikola's in Napa Valley—$600 specifically chosen by the bride.
The wedding bands are already custom-made, but adjustments can be made if necessary...
Altogether, the total wedding expenses come to approximately 50 $0.00, which includes all deposits.
I would be willing to offset the deposits against the value of the rings, roughly 10,000 +/-. I am more than happy to sit down with the new couple to hammer out the remaining details and assist with any final organizing tasks...

Someone was asking about the venue at the local vineyard... I went ahead and booked it! To me, the hall is just perfect—it’s cozy, intimate, and has such a warm, lovely vibe all on its own. You really don't need to overdo the decor; honestly, adding too much would just look tacky..
So, here is how the math breaks down; you basically have two paths:
If you decide to rent the hall and handle all the logistics yourself, the cost will be roughly $5400 (for up to 200 guests) or $6667 (if you're hosting more than 200). That price covers the servers and the kitchen staff who handle everything from the meal prep to designing the menus for a crowd that size...
On the other hand, if you go with the per-person rate, I believe it runs anywhere from $130 to $60... I assume you'd have to stick to their drink packages, though maybe not for hard liquor. I can't say for certain, since my parents insisted on the first option so they could let the pros handle every single detail...😍
I've attended a few banquets there before and the service was absolutely top-notch 👍 ...we'll see how it goes...
