Look, baby... from the moment he finishes inside you... you’ve got a 72-hour window.

But seriouslyβ€”go see a doctor and follow what Robin Martin8 said... if this guy is actually your boyfriend... hold up a second and think about it. If it was just some random guy or someone you don't care about... just get it done.

Austin Brown12 said:You can pick this up at any local CVS or Walgreens without needing a prescription from your doctor. That being said, it is perfectly logicalβ€”and frankly, common senseβ€”to consult with a medical professional first to account for any potential side effects.
Everything is going to be just fine, and I truly cannot fathom why you’ve become so incredibly worked up over this.

Worked up? Honestly... if the guy at the drugstore was told he couldn't get it without a prescription, then yeah, I guess I am.

Austin Brown12 said:Have you ever looked into emergency contraception, specifically that "morning after" pill which can be administered within a 72-hour window following unprotected intercourse? The biological mechanism of the pill is designed to halt ovulation, prevent fertilization of the egg, or stop a fertilized egg from successfully implanting in the uterus.
Do not let this consume you, πŸ™‚

Being nervous isn't going to solve anything! Seriously, just go see an OB-GYN tomorrow. And look, was this with someone you're actually dating, or just some random guy? Because if you're in a relationship, if you're mature enough to realize what's happening, maybe you should just take a step back and think about everything for a second. But if you aren't... well, then it's a different story.

Well, then just head straight to the gynecologist! Don't go playing doctor and taking anything without advice; this isn't some game. If you can't get an appointment with your primary doctor, just find a private clinic somewhere!
And maybe just carry a spare condom in your purse, just in case!

I’m definitely heading to the gynecologist tomorrow... if they prescribe a pill, am I still responsible for the cost, or is it covered?

Oh, come on, it doesn't really matter... I just need to know how much it costs so I can figure out how to scrape the money together.

Honestly, maybe I should just shut up...

You clearly aren't paying attention to what people are actually telling you.πŸ˜‚
The solution is staring you right in the face if you'd just read the comments.😁

I’m really curious to know which test is actually the most reliable if you're checking before your period is actually due.

Kirshn recommended I try the Sign test, since it gave her a positive result ten days early. I’m definitely going to pick one upβ€”maybe it’ll bring me some good luck too!😍.

My period isn't supposed to arrive until August 3rd, and honestly, that feels like an eternity away from where I am right now.😲.

boldtinker72 said:So, my period is currently two days late, and I am experiencing several typical PMU symptoms, such as bloating, mood swings, and this unpredictable appetite where I might have no interest in food all day, only to suddenly feel an intense craving to eat everything in sight. I have also noticed some spotting lately.
(And I am certainly not a teenager.)
Is there anything specific I should be doing at this stage? Is it possible that the delay is being caused by the stress and anxiety I am feeling regarding this situation?
My cycle is usually quite regular; it has only ever been late once before, and even then, it was only by four days.
I find myself constantly waiting for my period to finally arrive, yet I am not experiencing any of those physical pains that usually signal its approach.🀷

If you're dealing with bloating or gas, just take some Gas-X...
