So, hereβs the deal... I went to see my OBGYN, and the exam didn't really show anything out of the ordinary. But when I brought up the morning-after pill, she told me that those aren't even available here in the Statesβapparently, they aren't authorized. Honestly, how on earth are people getting them?! I even checked with the local pharmacy, but no luck. Now all I can do is grab some Rosary beads and start praying until August 5th.

What do you mean "doesn't exist"? Sure, there isn't one single magic pill for everyone, but the doctor should have prescribed emergency contraceptivesβtaking two doses every 12 hours. A few years back, I had a condom fail, went to my doctor first thing in the morning, and they prescribed Stediril, specifically two at a time. You just have to buy the full box.

Kirshn recommended I try the Sign test, since it gave her a positive result ten days early. Iβm definitely going to pick one upβmaybe itβll bring me some good luck too!π.
My period isn't supposed to arrive until August 3rd, and honestly, that feels like an eternity away from where I am right now.π².
Figured Iβd jump in and share my own experience with testing. π
I first used a First Response test $5.00 6 days before my period, based on a 32-day cycle. But tracking my strips, I knew when I ovulated, and that test already showed a line at 9 days post-ovulation.
Scorpio also used a First Response 5 days before her period, and it was positive.
Then, 4 days before my period, I tried a Sign testβthe one that says results can show up 3-4 days earlyβand it showed a line too.
After seeing that, my Kirshn did the exact same thing 4 or 5 days early.
Honestly, I think we just got lucky that it showed up so early for us. In most cases, it probably won't show anything until at least 12 days post-ovulation or later.

Hey ladies!
So, today marks 10 days past ovulation, and I took a test this morning using a Gravignost strip, and there isn't a second line to be seen .... π’π’π’
I'm really hoping it's just too early to tell, since my period isn't due until August 3rd... My cycles are usually pretty steady at 30 days.
Everything feels a bit off todayβsort of like those pre-period aches, but different. I can't tell if I'm just psyching myself up, but I'm definitely noticing some symptoms... My breasts feel heavy and full, though they don't have that usual soreness I get during PMS. No nausea yet, but I have this strange sensation, almost like my stomach is sitting right in my throat. My lower back is aching, and I've noticed some yellowish discharge... But the weirdest part? I have absolutely zero interest in sex right now π².
What do you all think? When should I try testing again? I honestly don't know if I have the patience to wait until my period actually misses... π

What's the rush to find out if you're pregnant? Nothing is going to change in the next couple of days. Itβs probably best to wait until you're actually due for your period and then take the test; otherwise, you're just stressing yourself out for no reason. It's still far too early to know. In my experience, I tested when my period was already two or three days late and got a negative result, only to have it turn positive three days later. I know the anticipation is driving you crazy, but try to stay patient. I'm crossing my fingers for a positive result for you! π

Just wanted to share some good newsβI finally got it! :-) Everything turned out fine, and I actually received it three days earlier than expected, which saved me a whole lot of unnecessary stress... haha. Thanks so much to everyone for all the advice. Moving forward, Iβll definitely be more careful about how I handle things; I think I relied way more on pure luck than actual common sense this time around... cheers!

Just keep a condom in your pocket and hope for the best!π

If you find yourself without any condoms, just tuck an extra towel between your knees... and hold on tight so nothing slips out!ππ

My brother always tells his younger sister:
Keep your head on straight and your legs closed.ππππ

Honestly, what else can you even say to her when she asks for advice? Itβs just one of those things where you look at how much energy youth brings to the table... π
I mean, if I actually offered up my patent, I might finally strike it rich! πππ Imagine if I could figure out a way to make those high-end designer sandals fly off the shelves! ππ

Itβs honestly just a matter of her being able to kick those legs up into the air with her knees tucked tight towards her chest!πππππ

Boza !!!! Iβm simply laying out the facts here, though I have to admit, watching how incredibly sharp and tech-savvy these kids are today makes me realize they might actually be outsmarting all ten of us "old-timers"!ππAnd when I really sit back and think about it, they truly have some nerve coming at us with that whole "elbow between the knees, then right onto the knees" nonsense!ππππ

Let it be. πIt seems some people aren't giving much thought to the potential consequences. Itβs a reality that kids are starting these activities at an increasingly younger age without any grasp of the risks involved. Then, you see these "brilliant" types popping up on forums asking ridiculous questions about pregnancy because they can't even tell if they actually finished inside or not. Honestly, itβs quite something. π

Itβs just the truth, really, and honestly, maybe they could use a little more of these "wake-up calls" so they think twice before jumping into jobs they aren't actually prepared for!
Goodness, do I sound like a total old lady? Oops!

Ready???
What exactly were you doing to kids because you were "ready"? π

Believe me, I truly thought I had it all figured out... twenty-five years of life under my belt, and yet, πit turns out I wasn't even close to being prepared for this journey! π
