Grab a test! (For anyone wondering if they're pregnant)

I was expecting it by Friday—usually, it arrives right on schedule
But through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 😍 there hasn't been a single sign. No PMS, no "pregnancy glow," nothing
It’s Monday now, and still absolutely nothing
My period is late 🤷
I even went out and bought one of those tests—the kind where the box claims you can use it anytime, not just first thing in the morning 😉 but I think I'll wait until tomorrow 🙏just to be safe:
To be honest, I'm actually terrified to take the test 😢
I'm scared of being disappointed all over again. Maybe staying in this limbo is better? I don't know, who knows ☕

edit: I suppose I've been feeling sleepy, if you could call that a "symptom," but honestly, it's probably just this heat

Ladies, thank you all so much for the kind wishes. 😍😍😍😍😍 I finally got to see my little one today, and my doctor stopped by to offer his congratulations 😍😍😍😍 though, I have to admit, the fact that there’s still no heartbeat on the monitor left me feeling incredibly anxious... The doctor tried to reassure me, saying it’s simply too early to tell and suggesting I come back in two weeks—now I’m just praying to God that we hear that heartbeat next time 😢 because, based on my last period being on April 3rd, I’m already about six weeks along

Sending good vibes your way; I really hope you see that positive sign soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 😍 I remember going through a phase where I felt like it was coming any second, but when it didn't happen immediately, the symptoms just kept piling up. 😍😍 Meanwhile, a colleague of mine had absolutely zero warning signs—nothing at all except for some breast tenderness, and even that didn't show up until she was already a week late. So, I'm holding out hope that your experience might be just as quiet. 😍~~~~~~~ Good luck!!

I mean, I honestly don't even know how long my "real" cycle actually lasts anymore... I just get it... then everything kind of just goes down the drain...

I feel like I need to put this out there, just in case you haven't stumbled across it yet. For anyone constantly asking about symptoms, or those who are already freaking out because their stomach is bloating up a few days after hookups and... well, everything else... just look at this:

It’s only day two of my period, and it feels like this week is dragging on forever...☕
I keep staring at that little pregnancy test I picked up. Honestly, if I weren't so tight on cash right now, I’d head straight to the bathroom and just run through the whole line of tests. It would be a relief to just get the disappointment over with—at least then I wouldn't be losing sleep, waking up at 3:00 AM wondering "what if" instead of dealing with the reality of it.

And well... negative. 😢😢😢

It’s getting harder to brush off these constant disappointments, isn't it? 🤷
By the way, I haven't felt a single symptom yet.

I’m on day 27, though my cycle usually drifts anywhere from 28 to 32 days. I know exactly how you feel. I haven't even bought a test yet because I know once it’s sitting on my counter, the patience will vanish and I'll end up taking it immediately. Every single day, I seem to manifest one more symptom, though I suspect it’s mostly just a placebo effect playing tricks on me. I try to distract myself with other things, but of course, my mind always wanders right back to it. We'll get through this stretch soon enough.🙄

Speaking of which, I should probably mention what happened with my mom

She was dealing with massive nausea and had zero clue she was pregnant—even though she already had three grown kids

One night she noticed some discharge, like actual tissue, so she headed straight to her OBGYN the next day with it in hand
The doctor takes one look and tells her it’s fetal tissue, then suggests she might need a D&C
But then he checks again and goes, "Wait, the baby actually came back to life"😲😲

Guess she was carrying twins, and one passed away, only coming out once the other was already viable

That second baby—my younger sister—was stuck in a transverse position and wouldn't budge

In August, her water broke and she had to have a C-section—her first three births were all natural—because the baby stayed sideways, and she wouldn't let them try to turn her

She's all grown up now, bigger than me, and doing great

People say if it had been a boy, he wouldn't have made it—something about being born premature in the eighth month, I guess

Hello everyone... this is my first time posting here, mostly because I’m starting to feel like I might actually be pregnant 😍—and honestly, the more days that pass, the more convinced I become. Just curious, though: how reliable are these pregnancy tests, really? My last period was on April 5th, and I was expecting the next one somewhere between May 3rd and 5th, but predictably, nothing has happened. I tried taking a test already, but the result was so faint it was barely even legible 🤷. To make matters worse, I can't even get an appointment with my OBGYN until June 1st. In the meantime, I’ve got this constant sensation like my period is just around the corner—there's some cramping, my lower back is aching, and my 🙂 have been feeling incredibly swollen. So, what’s the move? Should I go out and grab another test, or just sit here and endure another ten days of this agonizing uncertainty 😁?

In what way isn't the test making sense to you?

It wasn’t even that the plus sign was particularly prominent—it was more that the vertical bar (|) was barely even discernible

People online say there’s no such thing as a false positive, and if you can see a line, it's a line

Well, it finally happened—the pregnancy test came back positive. 😍 We’ve got an appointment with our OB-GYN in about ten days to see what she has to say, but if I had to place my bets, I'd say she’s probably around four weeks along. 😍
