So, here I am. I finally picked up one of those Pregnancy tests, based on a recommendation from the pharmacist. Apparently, you can use any sample, but they suggest using the very first one of the morning. I’m still feeling a bit nervous about waiting until tomorrow... part of me wants to just get it over with right now, but honestly, I've been running to the bathroom all day, so it probably makes more sense to wait for the morning. Thanks for all the advice everyone, I'll let you know how it goes. 😢

Mary gave you solid advice—any test will do. I had one of those cheap drugstore ones show two lines for me, and it wasn't even early morning; it was mid-afternoon.

😕

I'm sorry, but those aren't really typical signs of Pregnancy... it sounds more like a UTI. If you were pregnant, you'd likely be at least a month along by now, so I'm wondering how something that small could already be putting enough pressure on your bladder to cause frequent trips? Pressure just doesn't seem right for this stage. Honestly, if it is Pregnancy, it's still way too early to feel anything at all... everything is just too tiny to notice...

Peter Diaz22 said:I was supposed to get my period on the 22nd or 23rd, but it’s already the 25th and I’m still waiting. Usually my breasts get super sore a few days before, but nothing this time. I'm also bloating like crazy—nothing there either. We both used protection, so I honestly don't get how I could even be pregnant? I've been peeing more often over the last 5 or 6 days and feeling some pressure in my lower stomach. I'll wait another two or three days then take a test. I'm praying to Quincy that I'm not pregnant... what do you guys think the odds are?!

😕

So, how's your boyfriend doing with his real estate stuff?

"WE WERE BOTH CAREFUL"!!! Nowadays, people are careful about their kids, their pets, even crossing the street...
Go grab a test at the pharmacy, and if it comes back negative, start using protection (ranging from condoms to oral contraceptives).
Being "careful" doesn't just mean "he didn't finish inside," because there is sperm present right from the very beginning of intercourse, in what laypeople call "pre-cum."
Responsibility!!! It belongs to both of you!!!
Instead of blaming, try being realistic and taking responsibility for your actions, all of it, 🙂 including sex.🙂 🙂 🙂

Thanks, everyone...
My husband is actually out on a business trip right now and won't be back until tonight; funny enough, he’s actually pretty open to the idea of us starting a family, whereas I'm personally not quite feeling the whole motherhood thing just yet (at least, not right now)
Anyway... thanks for all the advice, lesson learned! 👍

I took a test at 6:30 this morning and it was negative 🙂
and then my period showed up about half an hour ago 😍

All in all... I've definitely picked up quite a few things from our chats here😉

Thanks again, guys!

Well, you know what they say—what goes up must come down. :mahMah:
I’m hoping we cross paths again in a few years, once you all finally stop keeping such a close eye on everything. 😉

First they complain about it, and then they act like getting their period is some kind of celebration.

Exactly. 👍

Just a quick observation here:
In this day and age, when seeing a gynecologist should be a routine part of life once or twice a year, and we have access to so many different forms of birth control, it’s honestly irresponsible not to use what’s available.

A child isn't a toy or a pet that you can just get rid of when you grow tired of them.

A child represents love, immense responsibility, 24/7 care, and everything else that comes with it.
It’s up to the parents to raise and nurture their children, not just grandparents or other relatives.
Daycare and preschool are essential options to help with socialization and managing work obligations.
That’s why I believe parents should be the ones to explain the realities of sexual intimacy—both the good and the bad—to their kids. When they eventually decide to become active, they need to be as informed as possible.

There are already enough unwanted, abandoned, unloved, or abused children in the world, so I am truly appealing to the sense of responsibility held by parents, young adults, and schools alike regarding education (without all that outdated nonsense about "shame" or corporal punishment).

It really irritates me whenever I hear someone make a joke about "missing a period," whether they mean it as a gag or not. In my opinion, that’s one topic where there just isn't room for joking around.
I might sound like a complete idiot right now, but the statistics are pretty devastating.

One more important point: a family isn't strictly defined as just a mom, a dad, and their children. There are so many different types of families out there, and every single one of those variations is equally valid!

So, I finally decided to jump in here, just like Linda Hernandez15 suggested to me. 😉 My big dilemma right now is that I’m honestly feeling a bit lost regarding what the early symptoms of pregnancy actually feel like... I mean, can you even notice anything after only two weeks? My stomach feels a little bloated, though it feels pretty much the same way it does about a week before my period starts. To be completely honest, we didn't even have full intercourse; like I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, it was just him finishing near the vaginal opening. I'm just so worried that I might have ended up pregnant... so I’m reaching out to see if any of you could help me figure this out if possible! Thank you all so much in advance! 😘

Honey, it really just comes down to the individual. In the beginning, some women don't feel a single thing. For me, I honestly thought my period was just running a few days late—I felt like I was about to start, you know? So I took a test. I was dealing with bloating, my breasts were sore like they always are, and I was just exhausted all the time.

When I finally saw that positive result, I couldn't believe it. Every single symptom felt exactly like my pre-period symptoms, so I was totally blindsided. I really hope someone else jumps in here with a better answer for you. I hope things turn out exactly how you want them to—whatever your heart's desire may be. It looks like you've learned your lesson, though. If you aren't looking to get pregnant, just make sure you're protected and you'll be fine!

Raymond Bennett27, welcome to the club—though you might want to think about changing that username 😉
Just kidding, but seriously—my early pregnancy felt exactly like PMS, right down to my favorite Chardonnay suddenly smelling like garbage 🙄
Grab a test tomorrow, follow the instructions, and you'll have your answer. If you're freaking out and need 100% certainty right this second, just head over to your local clinic and get a blood test; they can give you the results directly if you don't trust those little plastic sticks

Hmm, I was wondering... do the symptoms actually show up within those first three weeks? Or does it take a bit longer than that to manifest?

Grab a 911 test and take it tomorrow morning. That specific test is supposed to pick up a pregnancy about five days before you’d even expect your period to show up.

As for symptoms—honestly, every single pregnancy is different, just like every woman is different. Some people feel it right away, while others don't notice a thing for weeks. Personally, I didn't feel anything at all until I was about six or seven weeks along. Just take the test so you can finally stop stressing and get some peace of mind.

The first sign is a missed period. It’s usually quite reliable.😁
A simple test will tell you. You can just pick one up at any CVS.

Raymond Bennett27, honestly, it all comes down to the individual. Whether or not you actually show symptoms depends entirely on your specific hormone levels.
The one thing I can't wrap my head around is whether your period is three weeks late, or if it’s been three weeks since ovulation and you're just still waiting for it to show up.
And look—if your boyfriend didn't finish inside, I'd say the odds of you being pregnant are incredibly slim. The only real red flag is if you weren't using any protection at all, because guys can "leak" before they even reach the finish line, and even those little pull-out methods or condoms can have enough sperm to cause trouble. Basically, what I'm trying to say is: if you ovulated during that window and you weren't using contraception, it doesn't take a massive amount of fluid to get pregnant.😉

I didn't experience any symptoms until about the six or seven-week mark. Initially, it was just this constant sensation that my period was imminent, and my breasts—specifically the nipples—were incredibly sensitive to any touch. Later on, some mild morning nausea and dizziness set in, but that was it. It’s best to just take a test to be certain; you can use a Clearblue right after you miss your period, and it doesn't necessarily have to be first thing in the morning. Good luck.

I think, honestly, I probably sensed something was off from the very first moment—just this nagging, weird intuition that things weren't quite right. I was dealing with some pretty intense, sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and then my ovaries started acting up with these stabbing sensations, too. So, I went ahead and took a test... even though my period hasn't actually been late yet, the result came back positive. Let us know how it turns out!
