the coalition said:I probably knew from the very start that something was off—just a gut feeling that things were going to go sideways.

Agreed.

the group said:I think from the very first second, I just knew something was off—it was such a strange sensation, like my whole body was slightly out of sync. I had this sharp, cutting pain in my lower abdomen, and then my ovaries started feeling all twitchy and poked at. I took a test, and even though my period hasn't actually missed yet, the result came back positive. Let us know what happens

Hey, group,
I’m dealing with the exact same symptoms, but my period isn't due until August 29th.
I really hope it's not happening!!!!!!!!!!
And I'm hoping I'm not just imagining things because my head has been pounding too... plus, I've been feeling so incredibly irritable lately...
😛

Raymond Bennett27, anything new on your end? Did you actually get that test done yet? You’ve gone totally radio silent lately.

2Linda Hernandez15: We didn't use any kind of birth control, and this all happened just two days after my period ended. So, two days later, he finished inside me... I honestly have no idea if I was already ovulating at that point... 😢
Anyway, like I mentioned before, my cycles have been all over the place. It went from 34 days, then jumped to 72, then back to 33, then 41, then 33, and most recently 56.
2Michael Garcia23: I haven't even taken a test yet because I'm still waiting for my period to arrive, and to be honest, I'm a little bit scared! 😢

Raymond Bennett27, look, you’re probably going to absolutely despise me for this, but let’s just call a spade a spade 😬 the cycles you just described—it’s like looking at a mirror image of my own experience. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I’d just take a test and put this whole thing to bed once and for all.

Linda Hernandez15 said:Raymond Bennett27, look, you're probably gonna be pissed at me, but whatever 😬 the cycles you listed are basically a carbon copy of mine. If I were you, I’d just take a test and call it a day.

Correct me if I'm wrong—and I'm sure some of you know better—but I don't think you can get pregnant on the last day of your period since most eggs are already gone by then. And there's no way you were ovulating two days after your period ended. Right, ladies?😕

Ovulation timing is pretty much a roll of the dice for everyone. Your cycle officially kicks off on day one—that’s when you see the first sign of bleeding, as they say back in the rural parts of the Midwest 😬 Before I was pregnant, I spent way too much time falling down internet rabbit holes and found out some women actually ovulate as early as day eight of their cycle
But hey, I don't want to get ahead of myself and freak you out 😘

I can't even grab a test just yet because my period isn't due for another two or three days, so I'll have to wait until then to see! My ovaries have started aching right now. They felt exactly like this during my last cycle, too. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's just some lingering effect from this cold or something else entirely...

It could even be a baby, honestly🙂
Ever since I ovulated, I’ve been feeling these little twinges in my ovaries, nothing too intense, just there...
I have a gut feeling it's actually a baby🙄
When are you expecting your period to start?
I’m thinking about taking a test a couple of days early since people say you can get away with that!

I was practically counting down the minutes until my period finally showed up, but when it didn't arrive by 11:00, I rushed to get a test—and sure enough, there was that positive sign. To make things even more confusing, I had been dealing with all those PMS symptoms that feel identical to early pregnancy signs.

Hooray! It finally happened—my period arrived! 😉 I am just so incredibly relieved... I’ve been waiting for this moment for what feels like forever!

You could’ve figured this out ages ago if you’d just bothered with the first response test. Consider it a lesson learned, I guess. Is it really worth dragging yourself through all this stress just for a few minutes of fun?

Just to be clear,
I had two periods while I was pregnant...

2Joshua Clark: Wait, you had your period two months in a row while also being pregnant, or...
I mean, how is that even physically possible?!
Michael Garcia23 said:You could have found out a long time ago with a first-response test. Now you've learned your lesson. It isn't really worth going through all this stress just for a few minutes of fun, right?

Well, yeah, it definitely isn't worth it! 🙂 But now I'm just confused... Joshua Clark is saying she was pregnant and still having her period at the exact same time. I honestly don't understand how that works...

That’s incredibly rare. You’re definitely not pregnant—don't worry about that. Everything is perfectly fine.

I once dealt with a case where a woman had four periods she shouldn't have had because she was pregnant, yet they arrived right on schedule—but honestly, that is an incredibly rare occurrence.

Look, everything seems totally fine—and honestly, I’m pretty sure your OB-GYN would tell you the exact same thing. 😉

Look, I hate to break it to you, but this isn't some rare phenomenon—my cousin dealt with three miscarriages, my mom had two, and several of my girlfriends back in high school went through the same thing. It happens way more often than people realize. At the end of the day, only a doctor can give you a definitive answer though...

I’m checking back in again... my nose is totally stuffed up, my ears feel blocked too, and I've got this nagging headache. I honestly can't tell if it's just the AC acting up or something else entirely, since I spend all day working in a climate-controlled office. On a brighter note, Megan showed up right on time, just like she said she would. But now, I can't help but feel this wave of anxiety... what if this is actually pregnancy after all?......
