I mean, if we did it here in the States, it would probably just be one quick message saying "hey, donate" and that's it. Maybe. Or something like that. $1.75 Maybe for the maternity ward or something? I guess. 😁 I guess the whole thing would just snap right now. Maybe. 🤣

😂 😂
I mean, I guess I really need to start some kind of home business... maybe like making pregnancy tests? Just an idea, I guess.😁

Interesting how one woman is waiting on a birth, while another is making a grand entrance into our lives.
Got a webcam so we can all watch this historic moment live?😍

Thanks, and 🤣 no webcam! But I'll make sure to give you all the play-by-play...😁
Just don't let us all get disappointed if the little one decides to show up next month instead.🙂 😉

Easy for you to say—I’ve already started mapping out exactly what kind of spread I’m serving for 😁

If you undergo a pelvic ultrasound, can a doctor detect a pregnancy even if they aren't specifically looking for one because it isn't the primary reason for the scan?

Of course they can—it’s practically impossible not to—because they’re going to be scanning your ovaries and uterus regardless... the uterus is tiny, roughly the size of a walnut (though it fluctuates slightly), so even the most microscopic changes are glaringly obvious on an ultrasound 👍, and you'd also see the corpus luteum on the ovary 🙂

Sam Kim12 said:Of course it can. They will certainly check both the ovaries and the uterus. The uterus is quite small, roughly the size of a walnut, so even the slightest change shows up on an ultrasound. You can also see the corpus luteum on the ovary.👍, and the corpus luteum is visible on the ovary.🙂

I had an ultrasound, and the diagnosis was PCOS. He didn't even mention pregnancy. He just noted I was mid-cycle, which he likely would have mentioned if I were pregnant. I am asking because all my tests are negative, yet I feel pregnant. I have all the symptoms and I am gaining weight without changing my diet. My stomach is rounding out and growing, which feels strange. My gynecologist won't run a test because he claims I can't be pregnant if I still have my period and the tests are negative.

Sending my support to all the moms-to-be out there and anyone hoping to start their own journey! 😁

I’m officially checking in to this second group, so please, feel free to drop any advice or ideas you might have! 😁

To be honest, I’ve spent some time lately "looking for signs" 😁 but I've come to realize that obsessing over every little thing just drives you and everyone around you absolutely insane! 🙄

Nothing to report yet—just staying busy working the graveyard shift at full speed. 😁

By the way, my son actually ordered his brother a sibling instead of a PlayStation! 😁

Amanda Stewart69 said:The ultrasound was just checking things out, and the diagnosis came back as PCOS—polycystic ovary syndrome. He didn't even bring up pregnancy; he just noted I was mid-cycle, which—I mean, he'd probably assume that anyway, right? I’m asking because every single test I take comes back negative, yet I feel exactly like I'm pregnant—I have all the symptoms, and I'm gaining weight even though my diet hasn't changed at all. My stomach is rounding out and growing, so it all feels incredibly strange. My OB-GYN won't even bother with a test since they claim I can't be pregnant if I'm still having my period and the tests are negative.

Oh, absolutely—PCOS is a nightmare🙄. I dealt with that for ages, and the second I stopped taking birth control, my ovaries started acting like complete rebels👍... I had those exact same symptoms, so it’s totally plausible—those hormones are absolute wildcards. Trust your doctor, unless you've had unprotected sex since that appointment and now you're stuck in this limbo👍
If you're genuinely doubting the doctor's word, just head to a private clinic for a beta HCG test and settle the matter once and for all👍 (you can get it done there and it’s reasonably priced $50 http://www.labcorp.com/tests/blood-test-menu)

I already posted this in another thread, but I wanted to drop it here too just to set the record straight—that whole mess I was dealing with two pages back? It wasn't a pregnancy at all. It was actually a massive ovarian inflammation instead. Honestly, I’d take the first option any day, but... well, you know how it goes.

But man, I've seen it all working in that hospital—everything from botched abortions and miscarriages to ectopic pregnancies... I'm praying to God that everyone here gets a happy, healthy pregnancy right when they're ready for it (whenever that may be). 🙂 😉

Sam Kim12 said:polycystic ovaries🙄 . I dealt with those for a long time. Once I stopped taking birth control, my ovaries went haywire👍 . I had similar symptoms, so it is possible because hormones are powerful. Trust your gynecologist, unless you had intercourse recently and are unsure👍
If you are truly skeptical of your doctor, go to a private clinic for a beta HCG test to get a clear answer👍 (you can get it done there and it costs about $50 http://www.questdiagnostics.com)

Thank you. I bought another test since my doctor isn't available until tomorrow afternoon.

My results are as follows:

The uterus is normal in size with a thin endometrial lining.
Both ovaries appear normal in size but look polyfollicular.

Can someone interpret this, specifically the part regarding the endometrial lining?

Amanda Stewart69 said:Thanks. Though I actually picked up another test because my doctor isn't even in until tomorrow afternoon.

Here is my report:

Uterus is normal size with early trilaminar endometrium.
Both ovaries appear normal in size, though they look polyfollicular.

Can anyone make sense of this—specifically that part about the trilaminar endometrium?

The uterus is a normal size, and having a trilaminar endometrium is perfectly standard before ovulation—it gets more irregular later on.👍
Polyfollicular ovaries simply mean there are several tiny follicular cysts present, all under 10 mm. This is a very common look for ovaries in younger women and doesn't require any medical intervention whatsoever.

I’ve been "looking for signs" myself lately😁—which is really just a fancy way of saying I'm driving myself and everyone else insane!🙄

Nothing yet—just the night shift working overtime at my end.😁

Welcome! 😬

You aren't wrong—it’s pure madness for you and everyone in your orbit...
That was definitely me once.

👍 Cheers to the night shift. 😬

Ladies, I know this sounds incredibly silly, but it’s been weighing on my mind so much that I just had to ask... Is there actually any chance I could be pregnant if I'm on birth control and my boyfriend doesn't finish inside me? I'm starting to get anxious because ever since we were last together, my breasts have been feeling really sore and they look way fuller, almost like I got implants or something. Could that be related? Thanks in advance!

Relax... it’s highly unlikely. If you’re consistently on birth control and he didn't finish inside, there is simply no way you're pregnant. There is nothing to worry about here.

Well, now we’ve gone and stressed her out!
To break it down: if she’s on birth control, things can get wonky—hormonal fluctuations, missed doses, who knows—there are a hundred variables at play here. And look, just because he didn't finish inside doesn't mean there wasn't a little "pre-game" leakage involved—enough fluid to carry some swimmers along for the ride, technically speaking.

Bottom line? Just have her take a pregnancy test so everyone can stop spiraling.
