Go to the spot where you were planning to go, even if you already bought a test. Honestly, just read through the responses from a few pages back; there are plenty of similar situations out there 🙂
.
You know as well as I do that nobody here can actually help you much (like Logan Paul said, "just pee on the keyboard and we'll try to read your pregnancy status through the monitor" 😬). The best we can do is offer some encouragement—and yeah, stress can definitely delay your period. 😘

So, first off, thanks.
It’s my first time popping in here, and honestly, I haven't really scrolled through the other threads yet, so bear with me.
I realize you all probably get a thousand questions just like this one, but I wanted to be specific, so...
Thanks again.

Here’s a link to one post by Zmija and another from alexxx. They both break down exactly what happens with hCG levels and the timing of it all, so you don't have to waste time digging through endless threads.

Hey everyone!! I am absolutely loving this forum, I spent all day yesterday just scrolling through everything! My period is late for the third day now... So, yesterday morning I picked up a Sign jeftin test and it was negative. But then in the afternoon, I tried a Clearblue and it showed a minus, except there’s this vertical line that’s barely there—like, you'd need a microscope to see it! The instructions say not to trust any changes after 10 minutes, but!!!! A few hours later, that second line is actually much clearer! My cycle is usually super predictable too... Now I'm just totally confused. I'll grab another test in three days, but I'd love to hear what you guys think about that "invisible" line. Thanks so much, love you all!!!

analogwolf27, I’ve got my fingers crossed that you see that line show up either today or tomorrow... For some people, there isn't even a visible line for several days after they expect their period to arrive. As for me, the very same day it was supposed to start, the line appeared—and it was incredibly obvious.

Do NOT look at the test after those first 10 minutes (I am telling you this from personal experience).
I have spent way too many hours staring at those lines after the 10-minute mark; I know exactly how good it feels to see them, but trust me—it isn't real.
That is just an evaporation line, which usually becomes much more prominent about thirty minutes to an hour after you take the test.
Personally, I stick strictly to whatever result shows up within that initial 10-minute window; looking at it later just drives me crazy.😢
Clearblue is actually a pretty solid, sensitive brand, and if that second line appeared within that first 10-minute window—even if it's faint—it could very well be an early pregnancy where hormone levels are still quite low. Either way, definitely retake the test in two or three days.
Good luck!!

Thanks so much, everyone. I’ll definitely keep you all posted on how things go... No period yet. I honestly have a gut feeling I might be pregnant, but we'll see. I have a boyfriend, so I'm not quite sure how he'll react, but if there's a baby on the way, then there's a baby on the way. Honestly, I’d love it... Talk soon!!! And thanks again for all the advice!

Right! I totally forgot to mention that the last time we had sex was January 7th, 2007... if that's what's causing those low hormone levels. Kisses!!

Just wait a few more days and take a test if your period still hasn't shown up by then.😘

The date isn't actually the deciding factor here. For some people, beta levels just climb a little slower, or maybe conception happened a few days later than expected, so there isn't enough beta in the system yet for the test to even pick up a reading...

Hey Benjamin Nelson8! You're here! Thanks so much for getting back to me and for all the good vibes... God, I hope you're right... I was running those tests yesterday. I can't wait until Monday to do them again... or maybe I'll just bolt straight to the doctor... I honestly don't know... hehe Love ya!

You shouldn't even bother heading to the doctor until you hit that 6 or 7-week mark. There's absolutely nothing to see before then, and I don't want you spiraling into a panic for no reason... we're all just waiting for that positive test result! 😘

Alright, here’s the deal. I took a test.
Negative.

During my workout today, I felt this sharp pain in my abdomen and started bleeding—but it wasn't my period, just some light spotting...
Has anyone else dealt with something like this?
Could it be related to pregnancy? According to the test—I used an Easy Test—it says I'm not pregnant, but still...
Please, I just need some insight. No judgment, please; I’m not trying to be a nuisance or anything.

I don't know how old you are, since you're talking about gym class and all, but honestly? You should probably see a doctor...
Maybe you’re pregnant and just having a really light period, or maybe you had a miscarriage, or even just some weird hormone imbalance or something..
My best advice is to just go get checked out as soon as possible.😘

Yeah, and I mean "as soon as possible"...

So, I’m thinking about picking up one of those pregnancy tests along with my boyfriend, just so we can both find out if I’m actually... you know... expecting? But here's the thing: how on earth am I supposed to break the news that I think I might be pregnant without making it super awkward? How do you even start that conversation?😕

Hey, listen... I think I might be pregnant.😬
Jokes aside, if you’re in such a serious relationship that you guys are actually planning on buying a kit and building it together, why can't you just tell him what's bothering you? I mean, I guess if things are that deep, you should be able to talk, right? Maybe.

Look, if I were you, I’d honestly just tell him he might be running a little behind on his cycle... and maybe suggest that grabbing a pregnancy test would be a pretty smart move at this point.
It worked like a charm for me!
We’ve got your back! 👍

Just tell him—honey, be a doll and pick me up a pregnancy test, and while you're at it, 😘

I mean, he’ll get the hint, right? 😁
I'm kidding, obviously. Just be direct: tell him you suspect you might be pregnant and that you'd really like to figure it out together.
I want you to do whatever feels right for you 🙂
