I am certain you will talk him out of the abortion. He doesn't care, does he? He isn't the one who will have to live with the scars and the emptiness for the rest of his life. I know a girl who had an abortion; I won't even get into how much she regretted it.
I would rather raise a child on my own than undergo an abortion.

Hello, everyone. I have a question I would like to pose to the group. My partner and I are truly hoping to start a family, and this was our very first month actively trying 🙂. Currently, I am on day 28 of my cycle. I haven't started my period yet, though that is quite common for me, as my cycles typically run between 30 and 32 days. However, what feels unusual is the intense soreness in my breasts, frequent urination, and occasional sharp pains in my ovaries. I am also experiencing significant bloating and gas 🙂. I am fully aware that these can all be premenstrual symptoms, but I have only experienced breast tenderness once before in my life, and that was when I was taking birth control pills—which I am no longer using. The pain is so severe right now that I cannot sleep on my side, which is my preferred sleeping position
. I have already purchased a pregnancy test (I went with First Response) but I haven't used it just yet. I plan to wait until Wednesday. Could anyone please tell me how likely it is that these symptoms indicate pregnancy? It feels somewhat surreal that we might succeed on our very first attempt, especially when reading stories about people who struggle for years without success. Thank you all for your insights

I had pretty much the same symptoms, but nature decided not to make things easy on me... just hang tight for a few more days and then take a test.

My breasts were sore too, I was running to the bathroom constantly, and I had this sharp cramping in my ovaries... but honestly, I just chalked the whole thing up to PMS. My appetite went through the roof and I was bloated like a balloon.😬

rustyorca15... why would that even be weird? I mean, think about it—a single Olympic swimmer can bring in millions in sponsorships alone, regardless of how you look at it...
but if you want to play it safe, just hang tight until the day the money actually hits your account. I personally waited a few extra days just to be sure, but hey, it’s your call...

It could be pregnancy or it could just be PMS—honestly, I'm crossing my fingers that it's the former 😍 ... just hang in there for another 2 or 3 days and let us know 👍

I went through the exact same thing when I was spiraling into total paranoia 😁
I was running to the bathroom every 45 minutes or so. Just a tiny bit of pee, nothing much. 😁
It wasn't a bladder infection either, because everything cleared up once my period started a few days later.

That's actually why I usually avoid this thread. I guess since my subscription just kicked in, I decided to jump in, saw your post, and was like, "Yep, that's definitely me." 😁

Honestly, there’s this super thin line for me between being empathetic and just spiraling into full-blown paranoia... 😁

I’ll find myself pulling these absolute manic all-nighters, deep-diving into endless statistics about whether someone could actually get pregnant while on birth control, all while simultaneously scouting out the best prenatal vitamins just in case.. 😛

My sincere thanks to everyone for the quick responses! 🙂 I am still experiencing the symptoms, though. My testing kit is ready to go. I am waiting until Wednesday to get everything finalized, and then I will provide you all with an update. 😘

I also ended up running a fever. This marks the third time in just one week that my temperature has spiked, even though I don't feel sick at all. It’s sitting right around 99.5 or 99.7 degrees again. I was reading online that this can actually be an indicator of 🙂

Yeah... I had an elevated temperature during those first few days too... nothing extreme, but you definitely feel it...😍 😍

That is exactly what happened to me.🙂 My husband realized I was running hot for the first time, so I went to check my temperature and saw it was at 99.5. I honestly thought I was coming down with something. Then it happened again the next day. After that, there were two quiet days, and then today, once more. Now that I realize this could actually be a symptom, I am feeling somewhat hopeful... 🙂I couldn't sit still, so I wanted to take a test as early as this evening, but I'm so nervous that I can't even produce a single drop...🙂

A low-grade fever was one of the big signs for me... and regarding the testing, don't bother trying tonight; just wait until tomorrow morning. 😉 😘

Yesterday marked the 28th day of my cycle. Is it possible that I am seeing this too early? Could there be an error in the reading? Should I perhaps purchase a different brand and try testing again...

THANK YOU! I am honestly at my wits' end. What should my next move be? Should I schedule an appointment with my OB-GYN immediately, or would it be wiser to wait a bit longer and test again just to be absolutely certain? I had a nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right... there are simply too many symptoms occurring that feel entirely out of character for me.😍

I have taken on the role of logistics—meticulously tracking fertile windows—while my partner handles the physical aspect of the process. 🙂 On a separate note, I work at a school supporting children with special needs. They tend to be quite susceptible to various illnesses and viruses, which leads me to wonder if I should consider transitioning to maternity leave immediately, or perhaps wait...
