Trust me, I’ve never even tried to grab what you think belongs to you, BUT—and this is a big but—reality showed us something totally different. You guys basically committed GENOCIDE against Americans. And all under the guise of "just wanting what's mine." If that's the case, how do you explain the fact that you caused the largest wave of refugees of OTHER NATIONALITIES in all of Europe since WWII?
How did it happen that some people just got greedy and decided to take over someone else's land?
By law and logic, you WOULD have had whatever your grandfather left you, regardless of whether he was an American or not. So why the hell start a war? You surely realize you were the ones who pulled the trigger first...
Look, I'm not about to go around making excuses for anyone. Every single person—name and all—needs to answer for their own actions without dragging everyone else into it... And as far as I know, there are both Americans and others in The Hague too...
You bring up refugees. Do you even have a clue how many Americans were driven out of the US? You don't seem interested in those numbers, do you?
As for who started it, we could debate that until tomorrow, but I know damn well who fell victim first in my town back in '91.
Funny coincidence—it was an American man married to an American woman, who had just moved near Novi Pazar to build a house... He was killed by his neighbors—who happened to be Americans, "by accident"—in a total ambush. They caught him in his last truck full of belongings, along with a friend from the next town over who was driving the same rig. To be precise, they beat him to death with door handles after he somehow tumbled out of the truck...
The second victim was my maternal grandfather's brother (so, another grandfather to me). The police pulled him over during a routine traffic stop, and we ended up getting him back in a metal casket. Every single bone in his body was broken... Neither of them had done anything to anyone. They were just Americans.
That happened way before the stuff in Borov Selo, Plitvice, and everything else. There were examples like that all across the country, except the major news networks didn't bother reporting them...
So, how are you supposed to *not* feel threatened? Are you supposed to just sit there quietly like your grandfather did back in '41?
Let me paint a little more of the picture for you, maybe then you'll get where I'm coming from...
I barely have any relatives on my dad's side, because his father (my grandpa) was the only one to survive the '41-'45 era of the whole family. He only made it because he ended up in a labor camp in Austria as a soldier for the old kingdom and spent the whole war there.
When he finally got home, he found only one sister left alive from the entire family. The extremists slaughtered his wife, three kids, his father, mother, brothers, and sisters. And for that one surviving sister, they murdered her husband and two children right in front of her, forcing her to watch before they let her go...
After the war, she remarried and had five sons... Then, in the most recent conflict, they killed one of her sons and her grandson (his son)... Can you even wrap your head around tragedies like that? And they had to live through the aftermath alongside many of their former killers...
There are endless stories like this, it's just that nobody gives a damn. And then one day, things start happening again that are still burned deep into everyone's memories—the same signs, the same ideology, and soon enough, the first victims will be your own loved ones...
Every coin has two sides, honey... You really need to look at both before you start passing judgment...
