I see things completely differently. As long as the USA keeps pushing its own agenda here in America, we aren't going to achieve anything for ourselves locally—and don't even get me started on our interests over in the States.

Basically, the USA and countries like it make their money off US citizens, while we can't even build anything for ourselves because of the exact same reasons.

It's both the Americans and US. Honestly, if our own politicians didn't roll over and let them, you wouldn't have Italians, Austrians, or Americans pulling this crap on us. I can sit here all day dissecting how messed up that American behavior was, but it won't change anything. Here, at least, we might actually achieve something.

Man, trying to explain things to some American right-winger who "isn't ashamed of his fascist past" is a losing battle.

Let's break it down slowly:

1. Back when communism was actually a thing, the West was basically rolling out the red carpet for refugees, telling them there'd be milk and honey waiting for them over here.
That’s why those communist regimes had to build walls—to stop their own people from fleeing to the West.

2. Now that communism is dead, suddenly labor is too expensive for the West, border rules get insanely strict all of a sudden, and now they're building walls in the West to protect themselves from waves of migrants.
