Shaggy hair and London types... typical.
It’s all just coconut, like some cheap Raffaello knockoff... honestly, any imitation of Ferrero Rocher is fine by me.😁

A Canadian pastry spread is an absolute non-negotiable!
I’m talking about those flaky little treats, hussar kisses, triangles, and every single kind of crusty dessert you can imagine—think honey pies, white cream pies, Julka slices, Moon pies, cream rolls, Linzers, coconut crescents, cinnamon hearts...
Is that enough for you? 🤣

Good grief, just thinking about it has me starving already. 🤣

Favory actually owns their own bakery they partner with—I think they handle stuff like this too—and honestly, they’re pretty budget-friendly for the most part.

So why isn't Favory working with Charlotte? They're known for those high-end cakes and pastries.

Sandra Hernandez9 said:These photos are stunning—honestly, this is exactly how I envision my own setup looking 👍. Those glass containers with the ribbon lids are also quite lovely for serving things like dry 🎉
.
I’ve already banned those little finger sandwiches from the menu, though we can include a bit of everything else—with a heavy emphasis on Canadian pastries 😍😍😍
. And yes, I’m personally craving some gourmet donuts, but everyone keeps insisting they aren't "wedding appropriate" 🤷
.

Man, we could probably end up getting into a massive fight over this. Maybe it's better if we just don't. 🤷 If they just slapped on some extra cream, I guess it wouldn't really be the same thing anymore. It just wouldn't hit the spot.

The photos look great. It’s definitely solid inspiration for how to approach the design moving forward...

I honestly don't see what the issue would be with those little cups—aside from the price tag, I can't find a single flaw.

What I really dislike are those "average" wedding desserts that just sit on the table being pushed around; unless you hit the jackpot, most of them aren't actually good. Usually, those plates just get shuffled left and right to make room for the soup, the appetizers, whatever, and you always end up with a messy tablecloth covered in crumbs. That's just my experience; it's always that same cheap margarine-and-sugar quality. Looking at these now, though, they do look high-end. Personally, for my own wedding, I’m taking a different approach. My logic is simple: everyone's going to eat, so I might as well make sure they're actually delicious...

Ugh, me too 😍 I am obsessed with muffins
plus, I kind of miss that first table from the old page—you know, the one that was just all desserts

I’m planning a standard dinner party for my staff... but I want the dessert course to be served Swedish style. It's not an issue for me to build some custom risers for the table—maybe just small wooden steps that I can drape a tablecloth over to create different levels. Then we can arrange the pastries on top, surrounded by candles, some fruit, and bits of decor. That's the vision.
The thing is, there aren't many photos of this setup online...

Just try searching on Google cookie table because that is where I actually grabbed these images from 😉

I’m actually obsessed with the idea of a dedicated dessert table—it just makes it so easy for guests to grab a treat whenever they're feeling it. Plus, I honestly don't think I'd ever want a massive, over-the-top wedding anyway 😍
And honestly, having a separate station with all the little snacks and stuff is such a lifesaver. Like, I feel like I go to so many weddings where the catering is... well, let's just say "light," and my stomach starts growling halfway through the reception. It would be so nice to just wander over to the table and grab a bite to quiet things down 😁

either it’s just a cheap, poorly made mess, or it honestly just doesn't suit your 😬

honestly, looking at these photos, even I'm starting to second-guess myself 🙂

No, I don't mean "skimpy" in a bad way—just, you know, sometimes there are way too many people and hardly any food, so you're basically starving while trying to socialize. That's why I think my idea above is actually pretty solid—having a dedicated dessert table and then a separate spread for appetizers. At least I know my guests wouldn't be wandering around hungry at any point😁

Yeah, I figured as much. The cookies are decent, but...
at least they won't break the bank.

I’ve officially decided on the "dessert table" option. Now it’s just up to me to track down exactly what I want—meaning the treats need to look as good as they taste. It’s honestly ridiculous that I’ve been driving all over Washington, D.C. and the surrounding suburbs for two days straight just trying to find a bakery that actually does decent cupcakes and muffins...

Monika makes cupcakes over in San Francisco—you might want to see if she does muffins too.

I suppose I should probably weigh in on this, though I’m not entirely sure if anyone is actually looking for my take. It feels like we’ve been circling the same drain for a while now, and frankly, I’m getting a bit tired of the repetitive nature of these discussions. I’ve been sitting here thinking about how things have shifted lately, and maybe I'm just being overly cautious, but there seems to be a certain lack of direction that I can't quite shake. It’s almost as if everyone is just waiting for someone else to make a move instead of actually addressing the core issues at hand. I mean, I guess you could argue that patience is a virtue, but at some point, you have to wonder if we're just spinning our wheels. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining for the sake of complaining—I really don't—but there is a palpable sense of stagnation here. Maybe I'm misreading the room, or maybe I'm just more sensitive to these shifts than the average person, but it feels like we're missing the bigger picture. We keep focusing on these tiny, insignificant details while the actual foundation is starting to show some cracks. It’s frustrating, I suppose, but also somewhat predictable if you look at the patterns we've seen over the last few months. Anyway, that's just my two cents. I'll probably go back to minding my own business now, but I figured it was worth mentioning. kaže:
Those hairy guys and the Londoners... what a bunch of absolute nonsense.
Anything with coconut works for me—think like those Raffaello truffles. Honestly, I’m always down for any kind of Ferrero Rocher imitation you can find. 😁

Haha, thanks for the ideas—I'll be sure to pass them along to my mom. 😁
