Oh boy... here we go again. They're probably going to strip out the numbers. Apparently, you aren't allowed to type digits online anymore...

Is Emma over at those new apartment complexes near the Union Station area?

EXACTLY. That bakery is far too polished for this neighborhood.

I know what you mean... my hair stylist lives in the building right next door 🙂 and we were actually just chatting about that bakery the other day. It’s really great. Thanks!

Exactly. Once I'm finished here at the salon, I'll take a look at how everything is coming along with those cakes. 🙂

There’s this one woman out in San Francisco who makes these incredible cakes. It’s not just that they taste amazing... they look absolutely flawless, almost like they were sketched out perfectly. Everything is precise to the millimeter.
The price is roughly $23 per pound, but honestly, it’s worth every cent.
Her treats have been the highlight at every wedding, baptism, or corporate event I’ve attended... easily the best I've ever had.
If anyone’s interested, just drop a thumbs up below and I’ll reach out to my niece to get her contact info for you.

Two of my close friends bake all the cookies for us—it’s mostly just for laughs and sharing, but it actually saves us quite a bit of money. I’d say we’ve saved at least $667 this way. And honestly? They were delicious...

Best way to do it—that's how we handle things down in Florida. You don't just buy cookies; you have your family or close friends whip up maybe two different kinds and everyone's happy.👍

I just caught up with my aunt who works over at Emma’s bakery, so I’m definitely planning to swing by sometime soon to try their stuff... I'm assuming they do delivery too.
Thanks for the heads-up, Noah Green5 🤣

They definitely deliver. They dropped off some pastries at our hotel along with a cake once. Hope you enjoy them.😉

So, tell me, were you actually happy with it? How was the cake? Was it one tier? Two tiers?
Each layer a different flavor?

I was more than satisfied. There's still plenty left over, if that's any indication.
Regarding the cake, ours had three tiers, though they weren't stacked on those separate stands—you know the look. My husband insisted on chocolate. I was worried about it melting in this heat, but it turned out perfectly. It sat on a mirrored platter, draped in ivy and silk flowers. Truly striking.😘

Man, this is going to be great.
I’ve got a wedding coming up out in the Midwest—think somewhere like Indianapolis or maybe Des Moines. We’re having these pastries made by this local legend who usually caters for everyone in town. She’s actually pretty much retired now because of her age, but we’ve got such deep roots with her family that we’re likely going to be her very last clients.
Her desserts are honestly top-tier.
We aren't planning on being stingy with them during the reception, either. All in all, the cakes and pastries should run us about $833, if that's even accurate.

That’s awesome! So glad to hear that!!
My coworker, Andrew Martin13, is actually making my cake—she makes the best cakes I've ever had. As for the cookies, Emma will probably handle those...
I'm picturing a three-tier cake without a stand, decorated with roses just like the ones in my bouquet. That's how I see it, anyway. My fiancé doesn't really care about the specifics since he isn't much of a sweets guy, and he's never been one for the tiny details. He's basically left all the planning up to me.🙂

Andrew Martin13, I know exactly how those big Southern weddings go. The desserts are incredible, the food is amazing, the bourbon is strong, and the appetizers are to die for.🙂)
Wait, did she call me to invite me to the wedding? 🤣

If you actually want to show up at my wedding, you're more than welcome—but where on earth do you even live? haha
My wedding is open to anyone with a good attitude. 😁 😁

Thanks! I totally overthought things for a second... but I really want your wedding to be everything you've dreamed of 🙂
