What matters more, me or her? Honestly, I don't even know... probably her.
I don't think we're talking about addiction here—at least not regarding our relationship,
not on my end anyway, because I’m definitely not dependent on her,
but she is absolutely dependent on me, though I get why
it feels that way since I went through something almost identical to what Harold Turner2 dealt with, except unlike her, I
just cut that person out of my life completely and haven't looked back once.
Maybe I could find a way to stay in her life without letting her
drain me dry, you know, just by shutting down a little; I can't sustain it forever, but
it works for a while.
But looking at the big picture, I think I’ll eventually have to pull away,
because even if she thinks sucking all my energy out helps her feel better,
it doesn't work like that; she’s just passing that energy through herself and wasting it,
it isn't actually helping her, otherwise she wouldn't totally crash whenever I'm not around.
She’s probably just the type of person who can't actually benefit from my "kind" of energy.
@William Gonzalez3, thanks for the support. 😉
