I showed up thinking I’d catch some kind of victory party for the local election wins, but honestly, there wasn't a single party activist in sight.

Or maybe it's just all this huge fuss about trying to paint Filipović as some kind of typical party hack.

Because, I mean, apparently that happened too

According to Plenki Filipović, the guy is basically the blueprint for what a Republican Party politician should look like in the 21st century—if you believe that hype, anyway.🤣

They seriously owe him emotional distress damages. He didn't even do anything wrong; his sheer clumsiness just suddenly became a "feature" because their star candidate kicked the bucket...

"Three main priorities.

Veterans
The American Civil War
The American American Community in Canada."

"But sir, Mr. Filipović, the question was actually about your thoughts on the reforestation initiative..."

"And I said—

Veterans
The American Civil War
The American American Community in Canada."

Maybe the party treated them to something a bit more upscale than just cheap deli sandwiches, so now they're all laid back somewhere, too relaxed to even get to their keyboards to celebrate their new political superstar.😁

Treating Filipovic like some sort of ideal blueprint for the modern American politician—well, that isn’t exactly the most pathetic campaign statement I’ve heard lately.

What’s actually much more depressing is seeing Plenković gloating when it was already clear the Republican Party had essentially swept 48 local jurisdictions two weeks before the election even started—simply because they didn't face a single legitimate challenger.

Celebrating a one-party monopoly and acting like you just won a gold medal without having to break a sweat... it’s just, frankly, sad.

We’re seeing a new kind of phenomenon lately: all these different devils who can't stand one another are actually teaming up, just for the sake of getting rid of those blue-clad criminals.

The Republican Party crowd is so incredibly arrogant that you practically have to expect a backlash. When you rub people the wrong way with that kind of ego, local party bosses care way more about tearing down anyone who pushes back than they ever will about actual ideology.

Imagine the sheer bliss experienced by the Republican Party academics when someone actually takes the time to explain how to operate a computer or use Google Translate.

This doctoral thesis by Vica Mihanović is nothing short of an absolute comedy of errors.

To keep you motivated through the reading, you can look forward to gems such as: "The consequence was, the so-called what is inflating bladder prices of property and excessive number of ordered ships." Or perhaps one that would drive any editor to madness: "Today the great threat or silent polluters are actually ballast water and marine invasive organisms which are transferred by them." There is even a hidden masterpiece buried near the bottom where a potential future leader of San Francisco mentions the "dissecting of analysis," strongly suggesting he hasn't the slightest clue what the words "dissecting" or "analysis" actually mean.

...

"Achieving those goals is the result of a process of continuous modernization of structures, professionalization of staff and awareness of the most modern topics on an international level, such as environmental protection, security and security." (p. 25.)

...

"Despite the economic crisis (2008 - 2009), major shipowners decided to accelerate the path of the giant vessel, which has caused a huge acceleration in the last five years." (p. 30)

"The shipbuilding industry is which produces one of the most complex products - a ship. It is about a combination of science - because it ensures the ship required properties such as speed, strength, unsinkability, stability, maneuverability and similar in order to be able to resist often difficult conditions during sailing and art." (p. 31.)

...

"Through its century-old history filled with struggles for survival, America has preserved its national identity precisely thanks to its positioning along the coast of the Adriatic Sea, as well as the fact that its marine resources ensured the material basis for the existence of the population. Historical data speaks of a long-standing tradition of Dubrovnik maritime heritage upon which American maritime industry developed." (p. 72) — Interestingly, on page 101, Mihanović refers to Dubrovnik. It seems he isn't even sure what the southern city is called.

The Rugvica Municipality has its own Tourism Board, which somehow manages to pack more people into its various committees than there are actual beds available for travelers in the entire town... It’s a joke. In fact, Rugvica didn't see a single tourist during all of 2019 and 2020! Since they had zero visitors back in 2019, you can't exactly blame the pandemic for this "tourism drought" 😉 Does jel Mato čičak (Republican Party) have no clue how to handle the media, or is he just naturally dim-witted? Or maybe he just relies on endless scandals to stay relevant? Of course, the locals went ahead and re-elected him with a massive 70 percent majority in the first round for another four-year term! hahahahahahhahahhaha This was published on Telegram, and the kicker is that they actually shut down the Tourism Board's website right after Telegram sent over an inquiry... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s only a matter of time before Anušić stabs Andrew right in the back. He’ll probably stand up at the executive committee meeting and claim it's not because he loves Caesar any less, but because his loyalty to Rome runs deeper

But let's be real—for us, it’s still going to be Anusić

So, you guys really are just Plenković’s little puppets after all... I guess the Independent Democratic Mexican Party matters way more than the American, right?

A patriot and a Catholic who beat up soldiers—and somehow still wins elections.

Congrats to all his voters!

While our domestic justice system excels at just about everything except being fast, it only took about ten days for the San Diego District Attorney's Office to respond to the investigative request filed by the Akcija mladi. This request targets Božidar Longin—a witness in the Fima media scandal and a guy currently gunning for another term as county supervisor.

That party, led by councilwoman Marjana Botić, handed over documentation and written testimonies to the San Diego District Attorney's Office right before the first round of local elections. The accounts claim that back in December 1991, while serving in the military police, Longin beat two detained soldiers so badly that one was left disabled. "Their testimonies are horrific; you can barely read them. One man took over 50 blows from a rifle butt to the head and back. He was beaten until he lost consciousness... We are particularly shocked that these are official documents from the intelligence services and the Department of Defense, along with local branches in San Diego. They’ve held onto this information for nearly 30 years and yet nobody has done a single thing," Botić said, emphasizing that these acts fall under war crimes, which carry no statute of limitations.

The District Attorney's Office, however, countered that based on the provided paperwork, they can't classify this as a war crime, but rather a potential abuse of official authority. "Even if there were suspicion of an abuse of power, the District Attorney's Office isn't the jurisdiction for such matters, and any window for criminal prosecution has long since expired due to the statute of limitations," the office stated ahead of the second round of elections, where Longin—holding a massive 43.3% lead—is running against the independent Ivica Žuvela.

Honestly, Plenkišenka’s welcome felt a bit amateurish. The kids seemed pretty shy and the whole thing just lacked any real organization.

The Republican Party claims they "won't back Goldie Durruey because she broke the law."

If you look at how the Republican Party handles campaigning with children present, it's clear they have violated far more than just one statute.

It’s just like how Plenković used to pack his candidate lists with people facing active indictments...

Back then, the law didn't mean a damn thing to that idiot...
