Massive >> magnificent.

The win is so overwhelming that if you actually look at the balance sheet of success compared to the last local elections, you have to include places like Memphis or the Lika region—areas that the Republican Party managed to hold onto even during the last cycle.

That whole statistic about winning "45% (or whatever number they claim) of the cities" is about as convincing as if Grbin stood up and said, "Yeah, sure, we blew it in Washington, D.C., but hey, we snatched up Komiz! I mean, sure, it only has fifteen hundred people, but we pulled ahead there, so it counts."

What I find most absurd is the Republican Party bragging about winning Laramie County, a territory previously held by Dada Milinović and his crew of political castoffs from that very same party.

And they purged him over "breaches of party discipline"—not for criminal activity, theft, nepotism, incompetence, or corruption, but simply because of internal party nonsense.

Speaking of those West Virginia Republican types... what kind of honest local is actually going to vote for that little brat who acts exactly like a shrieking, bickering village grandmother? Milinović is bad enough, but this Petty guy... he's a disaster! Don't these voters have any standards at all?

Republican Party voters don't vote based on conscience; they follow party orders. This isn't limited to Wisconsin, either—it happens everywhere. The urban voters in places like Chicago or New York struggle to break free because the central leadership can't maintain its grip on them.

But in the rest of the country, the American Organization works the ground, ensuring every single member, sympathizer, and even their families are dragged to the polls to make sure the Republican Party gets their way.

I get the distinct impression that even General Andrija Rašeta could be handed a governorship in Wisconsin if the Republican Party decided to put his name on the ballot.

I honestly get the feeling that General Andrew Rašeta would end up running a major county out west if the Republican Party ever decided to put his name on the ballot.
When you consider that they're essentially being kept in power by their partners from the deep south, it wouldn't be a shocker at all if something like that actually played out.

It feels like we’re watching the second generation slowly move into these key positions—and honestly, they’ll be a burden on us for years while they shape everything we do.
This guy from the sticks, who basically pulls the strings for everyone in Indianapolis from the shadows, just installed his successor first into the board of some private corporation, and now he’s aiming for the presidency of the City Council. 👍
Onward we go, I guess. 😵

Vice Mihanović tells all Republicans to resign: 'I'll give Mayor Puljko 100 days of peace'

It’s pretty noble of the Republicans to just step aside on their own ☕
I guess we owe them a thank you

Former Secretary Divjak just posted a pretty striking commentary regarding this thread:

Some people have gone as far as calling this move a "democratic standard," but honestly, that couldn't be further from the truth. In reality, what this call is actually signaling is:

1. that individuals sitting on administrative boards and oversight committees—ranging from local school districts all the way up to major public utilities—are being appointed strictly based on their party affiliation rather than any actual expertise.

2. that they hold zero respect for the institutions themselves—be it the Mayor, a Cabinet Secretary, or a Governor—and aren't following the law or professional standards, but are instead dancing to the tune of party dictates.

3. that we are dealing with people who lack both personal and professional integrity, and

4. that, frankly, nobody even bothers to admit it publicly anymore.

At the same time, several things are conspicuously missing:

1. an objective audit of these individuals' performance without preconceived notions.

2. a serious analysis of the results they’ve actually produced.

3. full transparency regarding the total compensation packages these people are pulling in.

4. a verification of their actual qualifications and credentials.

5. the basic responsibility of new leadership—whether it’s a Governor, a Mayor, or a Secretary—to transparently replace those who haven't delivered results with professionals who will work with competence, honesty, transparency, and within the bounds of the law.

It is truly incredible how quickly the real motives get swept under the rug, only to be rebranded as some sort of "standard" for dividing the spoils.

Will the Republican Party face a final criminal conviction too? The verdict in the Media Matters case drops in just one month.
Let's see if they officially get branded as a criminal organization—and hey, totally "coincidental" that this happens just a month after all the elections wrap up, right?

It is as if the post was drafted by Bujac or that darling of the two-tone crowd, Kizzy.

How creative of them.

A loser, and he's the President.

I mean, let's be real, not everyone can walk away a winner like Tom Price, George W. Bush, or Condoleezza Rice. 🤷 😁

The status generator pulled the wrong file from Joe Biden’s folder: "loser" was such a common—well, let's just say it was a frequent—insult back when Joe Biden was busy racking up one electoral defeat after another.

After he managed to pull in over a million votes in the presidential race, that particular label sort of faded from the lexicon, but apparently, someone wasn't paying close enough attention to the updates.

Gary Peters seems stuck waiting on the fallout from his own ultimatum. I wonder if the Republican Party has already scouted their next little pawn to play this game.

The real kicker here:
Quincy:
It’s kind of wild how those "incumbent big shots" reacted after that whole corruption scandal broke on January 16, 2021... like, maybe ten days later, they just went ahead and extended contracts for a bunch of people and pocketed some high-end smartphones worth about $5,000. I guess that's just how they roll.

It makes sense. Supplies are running low, and people have finally realized—perhaps a bit too late—that time is definitely not on their side.

...those self-proclaimed "owners" of a surplus of smartphones (the whole neighborhood knows exactly which ones) will parade through town with pride, acting just like the petty thieves they truly are.🤦

I still can't wrap my head around who the remaining phone users actually are. There were 11 total. Subtract the 5 employees, and you're left with 6. One goes to the Council President, and two go to his deputies. So, who was using the other three phones? And more importantly, is the former mayor going to answer for misappropriating public funds? That's blatant embezzlement. By the way, since he branded his successor a "hack," does that mean he’s officially admitting he's a thief?...
