How is the Republican Party headquarters celebrating their local election victory? They secured a win in Indianapolis, so surely that warrants some sort of celebration, doesn't it?

At first, I honestly couldn't wrap my head around them picking up Indianapolis—I was just sitting there thinking, "No way"—but then it hit me that they’ve actually held sway there before through the Democratic Party. And if we're being real, most of those folks were basically Republicans anyway.

They’re trying to spin losing San Francisco as a win because they got Indianapolis! Like you said, they already had Indianapolis, but they completely blew it in San Francisco. Those two cities are basically identical in scale and impact! 🤔

Republican Spider: I’ve finally reached the point where I’m the one asking for a job, much like the countless people who used to come to me begging for work

Word on the street is that this "new opportunity" for Spider might be the Director position at Yosemite National Park.

"I really wouldn't comment on those rumors right now. But if you're asking whether I'll find myself in the same position as so many citizens who sat in my office pleading for any kind of help finding employment... well, I suppose I am in that situation now," said Spider.

The Republican Party will surely look after its fallen soldier

If someone were to be Jelić and find a position within the county, considering how much experience they have... who could possibly afford to pay for that kind of expertise?😛

The Republican county executive spent an obsessive amount of time suing any media outlet that dared to criticize him. Now, the county itself is stuck footing the massive legal bills

Honestly, goodness gracious, where on earth did they dig up this Petry fellow from, because every single time he appears in the news, he looks like he just stumbled straight out of a local dive bar, and even if you consider Milinović to be an outlier, this guy makes him look like a total amateur...

Word on the street in San Francisco is that Spider's real issue is his young wife. Apparently, she never learned how to save a dime or plan a major purchase... 🤣

I have to agree, this whole thing with Spider-Man feels off to me. He acts like he’s struggling to make ends meet, but honestly, he’s probably already set himself and his kids up for life. At this point, he could easily retire and just live comfortably on his savings.

Word is his wife did a hell of a job cleaning up all the evidence... It’s a tough situation for Spider-Man. Again, I'm just repeating what I've heard, but he's keeping everything strictly under wraps behind closed doors.

The whole vibe is basically just a budget, low-rent version of Krsticevic.

It’s like they’re going through some kind of brutal withdrawal crisis... 🤣

Anusic 5/28/2020: What Savka and Tripalo were doing back in the '90s is essentially what Skoro and Bridge are pulling off right now.

Responding to Ljubic's question about whether today's so-called alternative right-wing bloc and their stance toward the Republican Party reminds him of the old National Accord Coalition, and whether it's fair to equate the Republican Party with the Democratic Party, Anusic confirmed that the players, the core ideas, and the tactical approaches used by Skoro and Bridge are remarkably similar to the policies and intentions previously held by Savka and Tripalo. He added that comparing the Democratic Party to the Republican Party feels somewhat dishonest.
Anusic and Ljubic wrapped up their discussion with Anusic suggesting that the clear intention behind these so-called patriotic forces is actually to further weaken the Republican Party, which might ultimately pave the way for the Democratic Party to take power.

Anusic 5/17/2021: If I lived in Washington, D.C., I would have voted for Skoro in the second round.

Personally, if I were living in Washington, D.C., I would have cast my vote for Mr. Skoro; however, as for how Republican Party members and voters will decide, I suppose I simply don't know, nor can I influence that outcome.

Is it going to be a two-way race on the machines?

The fundamental operating principle of the Republican Party is omertà—a strict code of silence.

Essentially, the mantra is: "We all know we’re corrupt, but that stays strictly within the party; you don't breathe a word of it externally."

Ban responded in this exact fashion to a Republican who had the audacity to publicly claim that Ban was a subpar candidate, citing a failed campaign and poor performances:

AFTER the powerful Republican mayor of San Francisco, Mato Frankovic, openly defied Plenkovic last night by criticizing his candidate for Washington, D.C., Davor Filipovic, the latter delivered a scathing rebuttal.
.......
Any advice or criticism, while certainly welcome, ought to be handled privately at the table within our political family.

This law of silence is absolutely critical when it comes to dividing the spoils—allocating jobs, subsidies, funds, and other perks throughout the party hierarchy. It remains unclear who exactly received the recovery funds for Indiana and Washington, D.C., given that the state hasn't actually rebuilt a single property yet; however, massive amounts of cash have already been distributed.

To whom? Everyone knows.

Aladrović basically just handed this woman a Chief Inspector role as a political favor. I don't think she has any actual experience in social services to speak of, if that's even true.

I was actually hoping for news about someone competent and qualified with a solid track record. This? This is just business as usual.

So, I was just sitting here thinking: if you were running a business, which one of Plenkovic’s cronies would you actually hire? Even if it was just to carry your bags or something.

Are we still out here celebrating that massive local election win, or has the scramble for power and the inevitable backstabbing of current leadership already begun?
We really ought to get all this drama sorted before summer hits, just so everyone can actually enjoy their vacation in peace!

It isn't just magnificent—it’s massive.

Massive >> magnificent.

The win is so overwhelming that if you actually look at the balance sheet of success compared to the last local elections, you have to include places like Memphis or the Lika region—areas that the Republican Party managed to hold onto even during the last cycle.

That whole statistic about winning "45% (or whatever number they claim) of the cities" is about as convincing as if Grbin stood up and said, "Yeah, sure, we blew it in Washington, D.C., but hey, we snatched up Komiz! I mean, sure, it only has fifteen hundred people, but we pulled ahead there, so it counts."
