Rachel Allen55 said:If those anti-immigrant types and that Nordic movement ever grab power together, this whole country is going to fold like a house of cards. You’ll have Denmark sticking its nose into their elections and backing whoever they label as Nazis. Besides, relations between Denmark and Sweden are pretty strained right now—think more along the lines of the tension between Mexico and America.

The Nordic movement includes Denmark too, doesn't it? From what I gather, it's all about uniting Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden... If Denmark went through what Sweden has dealt with over the last few years regarding mass migration, the Danish Right would be pulling in even more votes than Viktor Orbán in Canada...

No pre-election coalitions and a 4% threshold. 😍 Sure, they’re idiots who are wrecking the country over immigration issues, but their electoral system is perfectly set up for them. 👍

It was 145 versus 141 for the left-wing coalition.

Well, isn't that just lovely.
I guess if the liberals somehow manage to overtake the Christian Democrats, then everything will be perfectly fine and balanced, right?
I mean, I suppose it's great that both of them—along with the centrists—have managed to pull ahead of the MAGA crowd.
And honestly, maybe it’s also a good thing that Ulf Kristersson is still holding his own against the SD.

Spot on.

If we just treated the entire country as one single district, I’d love to see how much support groups like the USSF or SDSS actually command without their usual political maneuvering.

👍

There’s a certain level of heavy depression permeating this Swedish forum I’ve been lurking on lately... People are practically praying for more car burnings, spiking crime rates, sexual assaults, higher taxes, longer wait times at hospitals, and even more shells falling—we’ve already seen over 40 just in Malmö this year alone... The consensus seems to be that migration has finally taken its toll, and they argue that once migrants get the chance to vote, they naturally lean toward the left, much like how things play out in the US... For the most part, everything I read comes from right-wing voters discussing the inevitable decline of Sweden and how Americans might eventually start looking for alternative countries to call home.

I gotta admit, I’m pretty shocked by the election results. I honestly thought the lefties in the Kingdom of Sweden were going to sweep up 200 seats. It feels like the Swedes have been totally brainwashed, but apparently, the surge in violent crime and murders finally forced them to get off their asses and actually use those empty heads of theirs for once...

Getting 63 seats for the SD is actually an insane result for Sweden—without them, nobody can get anything done, and anyone trying to form a coalition is going to be forced to push anti-immigration policies. Interesting...

We'll see if they start pivoting on other issues too, like getting rid of cash. Sweden is basically the testing ground for pushing this agenda (though I doubt they'll budge until they start feeling the "benefits" of digital currency—they're seriously checked out)

Looks like we're back to 144 against 142 again.

It’s actually pretty fascinating how two different groups—made up of seven parties in total—ended up with practically identical vote counts. 😁

The SD is clearly sitting in third place; I honestly thought the race for second would be a lot tighter than this...

It won't be bombs, rapes, or street fights that breaks them. It’ll be the social welfare and tax systems. That’s when America will truly turn into a hellscape.

It’s pretty much what you'd expect—this massive surge for the anti-immigration party, right? And honestly, it’s just the direct fallout from all those "benefits" they get from their supposedly glorious socialism... which, let's be real, was never actually meant to help people in the Kingdom of Sweden anyway.

It’s just one of those moments, isn't it? When you see a team from one of the least developed 🙂
nations somehow manage to pull off a win against a powerhouse from the most advanced countries in the European Union.

Not gonna happen. The center-right will probably just give quiet support to a minority leftist government. Or they'll go for a grand coalition. In my book, only the Austrian People's Party in Austria has the guts to ditch the whole "cordon sanitaire" thing and actually partner with the alt-right.

But how anti-socialist is their platform, really?
If they actually want to get rid of all the parasites, cutting social spending matters way more than just pushing anti-immigration rules. If they don't do that, they're basically just national socialists.

You guys are getting too caught up in the raw numbers and election results, but you're missing the bigger picture here. All the left-leaning parties are basically riding the wave of the growing immigrant population—which keeps expanding due to migration trends and higher birth rates in those communities. But look at the flip side: the SD used to be a totally marginal player, struggling to even scrape together 2% or 3% of the vote. Fast forward eight years, and the SD has seen this incredible surge, climbing all the way up to around 18-19%. They’ve become a massive factor in the political landscape, someone you actually have to account for in any discussion. They aren't just a niche group anymore; they've gone mainstream, representing a huge portion of the actual Svedjan electorate—not the immigrants, but the native Svedjans themselves.
