Man, that car looks terrible.

And it’s not even about the orange color—it’s just so incredibly basic. It looks like a bright orange old-school Chevy with some cheap spoilers slapped on it.
Maybe they'll stick another sponsor right in the middle before the season starts to make it look halfway decent.

At first glance: Ferrari is going to struggle even more than Mercedes, mostly because of all those little "details" that are supposed to make the difference, just like Sebastian Vettel said.
To any casual observer, they look pretty much the same.
As for McLaren, they might as well just pedal their bikes down to Santa Barbara.🤣

Honestly, I think the McLaren is easily the ugliest car they've ever made...

Always going on about how Red Bull Racing does this or Mercedes does that, or claiming they’re just copying Ferrari while insisting Ferrari will be the last one standing. Give me a break... Where was Red Bull Racing during Monaco, Budapest, or Japan last year? And where were they in Singapore? On those high-downforce aero tracks? Please... they were trailing right behind Ferkan. You keep saying Ferrari comes up with solutions everyone else copies, but no... the "genius" Newey is just going to triple-copy them instead.🤦

Monaco - Ricciardo sits right on the podium, just behind Ferrari, and... Right in front of both Mercedes cars. 🙂
Budapest - Ricciardo's out (Max Verstappen ran him over) 🤣So they were all basically screwed from the jump...
Japan—Max takes 2nd, Ricciardo takes 3rd right behind the No1 Mercedes. Sitting right there in front of both the Ferrari and the No2 Mercedes.
Singapore — Ricciardo grabs second place on the podium, sandwiched between two Mercedes cars. Leading both Ferraris.

I don't know, I have to say, these cars have become pretty damn hideous. From an aerial view, they just look ugly; half the car is nothing but floor now, and the halo is basically just a cherry on top of that mess...
That nonsense when they added those little penis-shaped bits to the front a few years back was nothing compared to this.
Still, I’m feeling optimistic about how the season turns out. 🍿

Yeah, that McLaren is gorgeous. It looks like something straight out of a comic book.
So far, my top picks for best looking cars have been General Motors, Williams, and Williams Racing.
Actually, if I throw Haas into the mix, I’ve basically just listed all my favorite teams. Maybe I'm being a little biased. 🙂

They’re basically rushing to offload this to someone, so it looks like they're just sitting tight, trying to figure out how much they can get away with without tanking their reputation or the brand name itself.

While every other team is busy testing and running their actual current-year cars, McLaren will likely just stick with
last year's setup. They think three practice sessions will be plenty to get everything dialed in.
Of course, no team is going to show their full hand during these tests, but
any updates we see will mostly be cosmetic adjustments for the opening race once they've had a chance to work through the kinks.

Not quite.
The side inlets were reduced at the expense of the central inlet, which has been significantly enlarged and split into three sections.
Basically, Ferrari just copied last year's Mercedes solution.

That alone speaks volumes about how effective it was.
As for the Ferrari rearview mirror setup? It's a marginal tweak that anyone could copy the moment they feel like it.
