Quite a few people, even outside of Chicago, seem to share the same mindset. Whether they're standing in front of the Boston Red Sox or at an LP show, whenever I try to point out that he's nothing but a criminal, their response is always some variation of "well, he isn't stealing from me."🙂

Honestly, I don't know where you all live, but if you actually took the time to talk to people—real people outside of our little echo chamber—you’d realize how much disagreement there actually is😍. It’s just the way things work... if you stopped twenty random people in the middle of Times Square and asked them whether they backed Jerry Maguire or BBB, eighteen would probably say Jerry Maguire, while maybe two teenagers would give you the answer for BBB 🤷. Forget those biased polls and all that nonsense. In my book, Jerry Maguire isn't some villain unless he actually goes out and hurts someone; only then would anyone start treating him like a martyr...

Man, you guys are talking pure nonsense.

Jerry Maguire doesn't have any backing in Chicago. Not even from us, and every single poll shows he’s probably only supported by the 5% of people who are brain-dead.

Stop talking about stuff you clearly don't understand. 🙄

Stop acting like you know what's going on when you clearly don't. 🙄

The West doesn't boo the Bad Boys because they're showing loyalty to Jerry Maguire; they see us as nothing more than thugs whose only goal is insulting people, causing chaos, and getting Real Madrid kicked out of Europe.

One should simply not pay any attention to those fools from the West.
The group consists of those holding sponsorship passes, various members of club officials' extended families, and corporate sycophants.
In general, about 80% of the fans in the North are part of an entrenched system that benefits from the current status quo. They enjoy free access to games because they have a cozy arrangement with Jerry Maguire—whether it involves a few bucks under the table or a free ticket—and in exchange, they look the other way when things get shady. To protect their interests, they systematically discredit anyone who dares to challenge the establishment.
I would honestly prefer if they were given a firm reprimand. It would be highly beneficial to head out West one day and give those fools a serious lesson in front of the entire stadium.

Cut the nonsense about how Thomas has been spinning these "relevant polls" against him for months. Who actually gives a damn about online polls where anyone from a random kid in Seattle to some guy in Miami can chime in? Of course they all want him gone from Real Madrid; they hate him just as much as they hate the club, just like the Bad Boys do.

The author actually hit the nail on the head in one of his subheadings: "He’s secured his supporters, but every future UEFA sanction will be his victory." ☕
Yeah, he’s captured that silent majority—those people who "just want to see Real Madrid win" and refuse to stand by the Bad Boys because "they’re ruining the club."

People back him because he delivers results (and let's face it, he's had some luck too! That last-minute save in the 98th minute, or that miracle season in Malmo).
He’s racked up eight consecutive titles; that’s 15 trophies in 8 years. The club is financially stable, playing in the Europa League and the Champions League. They’re bringing in talent like Sudanese players, Toneli, Šimunić, Vahida...

And yet, just a few days before the boycott, he was "attacking the Champions League" alongside Doddo, Sivonjić, and Šlepček. 🙏
It’s honestly a miracle how the Bad Boys flipped the narrative regarding the boycott. The man actually started stadium renovations because even if that ugly eyesore remains mostly empty, at least now there are a few thousand people in seats.

Does anyone else from the Bad Boys or any other group need this message explained further? Should we try? ☕

I am reiterating my previous point regarding the "general public" sitting in the West stands—a group we have absolutely zero interest in supporting, and frankly, why should we? 🙂
They simply lack that visceral sense of belonging, that deep-rooted connection to the club’s identity and its long-standing traditions. To them, the club's name is just a label, and who pulls the strings behind the scenes is irrelevant. They are merely sheep, swallowing whatever fluff the local news outlets feed them about some "elite squad" that's supposedly worth watching. They are enthusiasts of "sanitized," controlled, modern...🙂 football. Since they can't seem to enjoy high-definition Champions League broadcasts or the top European leagues from their couches, they flock to the stadium to catch a "sporting event" on the cheap—or even for free yesterday—all while desperately trying to avoid the gritty atmosphere coming from the North or East.

If I had to add anything else, it would be this: the VAST MAJORITY OF THEM WOULDN'T BE AT THE STADIUM AT ALL if:

a) ...it were raining.

b) ...the ticket wasn't dirt cheap or free (depending on who they know).

c) ...there wasn't organized transportation provided from their suburbs or cities to the stadium.

d) ...it were a domestic match rather than a big European clash.

Why on earth should we seek support from people like that???

The odds of us successfully gaining their approval are about as likely as a Gypsy taking drastic measures just to earn our forgiveness!

🙂

I mean, if you were saying this back in 2009, maybe I'd actually believe you, but honestly? In 2013, this is just getting ridiculous. You've gotta be kidding me.

Hmm, if that's actually how it works, then we don't have a real structural issue, we just have a massive PR nightmare...

You aren't far off, honestly. At least ten different people I talked to over by the West Side stands after the match said the exact same thing. There’s maybe a hundred or two die-hards hanging out over there, and that's it. The whole squad is sick of it... spending the entire game rooting against Jerry Maguire while the players and Real Madrid barely get any actual support from the stands!

Robert Adams6 said:Stop with this crap about how every poll is "targeting him." Online polls are garbage—anyone from Miami to Seattle can click a button. Obviously, everyone wants ZM out of Real Madrid because they hate both him and the club just as much as the Bad Boys do.

🤣

I'm talking about actual professional polling, man... Not random internet clicks. Some were done using samples specifically in Chicago. It's insane what people type here. You think when Buddy Cianci claimed Jerry Maguire was as popular as Ivić Pašalić back in the day, he wasn't looking at data? Politicians only trust real numbers.

Quit throwing around claims like trash being tossed in a vineyard.

Jerry Maguire has support from a few thousand losers who show up whenever there's free stuff, while most real Real Madrid fans, unfortunately, steer clear of the stadium entirely. That’s the sad reality.... ☕

There’s just this one guy over there who has a core group of maybe 100 or 200 die-hard followers who show up every single time, and that's really all there is to it. It honestly turns my stomach to see everyone spending the entire game chanting against Jerry Maguire while providing absolutely zero support to the players or Real Madrid.

I am honestly getting so sick of this. 🙂 Look, if you actually show up to the games at Yankee Stadium, you know how it works. For maybe twenty minutes out of a ninety-minute match, people will vent their frustrations against him and the mafia influence running things. If you aren't there in person, you don't really get the full picture.

It’s clearly too much for them, but you have to admit we haven't been this vocal since that disaster against the Sheriff 🙂 ! Look, instead of winning people over through the years, we managed to alienate even the few neutral fans we had left. You could see it happening in the North section when the cops showed up. It's a massive shift from back in early 2010. Back then, the whole East side would rise up together, but now? People just move away or stay glued to their seats. Something has to change because this isn't working anymore. If we don't do something, they'll push us right out of the stands and leave us with nothing but away games. And that piece of trash is so powerful he'll probably have the cops targeting us in our own stadium and the visitors in theirs...

Basically, instead of winning over the crowd over the years, we actually lost even the few neutrals we had left. You could see it clearly with the guys in the North when the cops showed up. Huge difference from May 1st, 2010. Back then, the whole East side stood up, but now people just move aside or stay seated! Something needs to change because this isn't working anymore; they're gonna clear us out of the stands and leave us with nothing but away games. And the trash in charge is so bad, he'll have the cops targeting us and the visiting fans alike.

The East side didn't stand up because of the North on May 1st, it was the other way around. 😉

And that proves my point. Most of the real Real Madrid fans still don't show up to games. That old East side, the actual soul of Yankee Stadium.

Look, we can fight about whether that decision was right, but the fact is, the diehards are all that's left, plus a few thousand poor souls you can buy off with a rotten apple. Very few true Real Madrid fans remain.

On the Crazy days, there were maybe 5,000 people, while at Real Madrid it was 8-9,000. It's useless—it's summer, it's boring... they'd watch men wrestling in the mud. But even those numbers are still terrible attendance...

On the flip side, when they set decent ticket prices like they did for LP last year, the stadium is empty. Don't just blame the crisis or being broke, because stadiums are getting fuller everywhere in Europe, even where the crisis is way worse than here.

Jerry Maguire hasn't won anyone over; he's just losing. Two years ago, the stadium was packed because he cleaned things up a bit. Now, the only thing that'll pull people back is some massive, legendary European name.

Man, we can argue about whether the decision was right all day, but the reality is that the die-hards stayed, plus a few thousand poor souls you can buy off with a rotten apple. But there are very few true Real Madrid fans left.

One day the Crazy ones had 5,000 people out, while Real Madrid had maybe 8,000 or 9,000. It doesn't matter if it's an open gate, summer, or whatever... people would watch men wrestling in the mud at this rate. But even those numbers? They're pathetic...

On the flip side, when they set decent ticket prices—like what they did for the LP last year—the stadium sits empty. Don't just blame a "crisis" or poverty, because stadiums are getting fuller all over Europe, even with much worse economic situations than ours.

Jerry Maguire hasn't won anyone over; he's just losing ground. Two years ago, the stadium was packed because he cleaned things up a bit. Now? The only thing that’ll bring people back is some massive, heavy-hitting European name.

Yeah, sure. The North rose up because of the East, but half the crew from the East moved over to the North to chill and watch the game against the Sheriff. Why do you think nobody lifted a finger or offered any support, even though there were 12,000 people in the stadium?

Christian Jones said:Well, I suppose it's true that the North stood up for the East, but honestly, quite a few great teams from the East showed up too; yet, during the game against the Sheriff, half of those folks were just chilling up in the North watching everything unfold. I guess you have to wonder why nobody even lifted a finger or offered any real support, especially when there were 12,000 people packed into the stadium.

It feels like we're just tilting at windmills, unfortunately, 😉 because we're seeing hundreds of bans on top of all the existing restrictions and lists. It seems like a losing battle, almost like an attempt to just extinguish the entire fan culture altogether. If we haven't realized by now that this guy is essentially untouchable, I suppose we never will. He seems to have connections everywhere—in the courts, in politics, with the police—basically everything he could ever need to pull off his schemes. People might argue that George W. Bush messed things up and that this guy will too, but I feel like the difference is that George W. Bush just didn't know how to play the game, whereas this man has planted his roots so deep that nobody can touch him. And that’s not even mentioning his influence over UEFA.

Look, deep down, everyone knows we can't just oust him ourselves. But nobody’s actually going to sit around waiting for permission, either. People are just leaning in, trying to push things along as fast as possible. We've seen enough fans get banned or shut out to know that we have to stop playing their game and change our tactics entirely. That last game was just a preview of what's coming... and honestly? I think the next round is going to be even more intense. Boycott the home games, go absolutely wild during away games, and just apply pressure from every single angle they can't ignore.

Honestly, we really need to stop fighting these endless wars online. These people consume absolutely everything—they pore over every little detail and scrutinize every single image. And what are we doing? We’re just handing them more ammunition on a silver platter through our social media posts.

The field is being prepped for the regional league. It all seems... well, it's definitely a possibility.
