Yeah, right. And it's always these guys with, what, five posts total, who suddenly show up out of nowhere over the last couple of days.

Chloe Newman, word on the street is we're heading to the North Side today, if I heard that correctly...

I’m not entirely sure how many of you were already aware of this, but I find this absolutely fascinating.

So, looking at this Football Manager 2018 link, it’s pretty wild to see that under the staff section for Los Angeles FC, they have 17 directors listed on the site. If you head over to the same page for a club like Real Madrid or Barcelona, for instance, you'll see they only have five directors at most... so, I guess it seems like this level of bureaucracy is unique to the folks over at the stadium here.☕☕☕

Man, I’d love to drop more than five posts without having every single one of them get nuked 🙂 and honestly? God knows what I even said wrong to trigger all this deleting. But whatever... I guess ten real, honest posts are better than thousands of fake ones anyway 😁

I'm putting out more than five here, and I'd really appreciate it if you could just get them right for once. 🙂 I honestly have no clue what I supposedly said wrong to warrant getting deleted. Whatever. At the end of the day, I’d much rather deal with ten real people than thousands of fakes. 😁

Maybe if you actually played a few games yourself instead of just sitting there acting like an expert, you wouldn't have so much to say.🍿

I’ve got games whenever I feel like it... honestly, it’s been a long time since I started getting sick of the whole damn thing. You know how it is—it’s just like American politics... you absolutely loathe the Republicans from the bottom of your soul, but then you look at the Democrats and they aren't any better. So you just sit there, let the bitterness sink in, and call it a day.

It’s kind of like American politics—you might absolutely loathe the Republicans from the bottom of your soul, but then you look at the Democrats and realize they aren't much better either. So, you just end up feeling this bit of bitterness, and that's about it.

Do you actually get a kick out of opening the forum only to find out your post was deleted? 🍿

The score might be 5-0, but it's better to let that bitterness out at the stadium.
If nothing else, it works as stress relief.😉

Well, yeah, I guess most of the quiet crowd wants a shake-up. I mean, why else were there so many people at the indoor soccer games at the Lakers arena or Madison Square Garden back in the day? Or why did everyone flock to Yankee Stadium when Jerry Jones was facing legal trouble? People were just hoping for a fresh start, I suppose.

I had fully intended to just sit back and watch the game in peace, without all the cheering and jumping around, but when he made that incredible leap to save the play... I found myself jumping up like a little kid again....

Since when was the league office ever a metric for what people want or don't want?
Look, you should realize by now that aside from two or three specific guys, nobody else here has ANY connection to the group or its current affairs.

I get the idiots who jump in asking why we’re doing this, why that, why the "boycott," or why the numbers are low. Honestly, they're just morons who can barely wrap their heads around anything beyond some cheap tabloid website. But I don't get "our own" people—the ones trying to play mediator. 🤦 As if THEY can just sum up our entire situation in a few sentences and explain exactly why we act the way we do. 🤣

Can I pick up tickets for the California game down in San Francisco near the stadium, or am I going to have to make the trek to Chicago? I know last time they weren't selling any tickets for the away section on game day 😵

Last time they didn't, the time before that they did; who can say for certain anymore?
In my estimation, you can simply grab them online. You can finish everything from the comfort of your own home without any unnecessary headaches.

Just text someone a photo of your ID and let them grab them for you.

Nope, you aren't picking up tickets in San Francisco this Sunday either. They've only got 150 available at the Ticketmaster outlet; the rest have to be bought locally in San Francisco by Saturday or through the San Francisco 49ers web shop before kickoff.
Everyone in San Francisco, the holy grail isn't for sale!

The "big boss" from headquarters spoke up—and predictably, the eager crowd gathered around him listened with total devotion, just like they always do. 😁

That sounds like the rambling of an addict.
It preys on the lowest impulses... those messy emotions that drive people to ruin one another.
Plenty of sheep will fall for it.

Gregory Robinson said:Props to the Bad Boys, I guess, but if we’re being real here... what have they actually accomplished for the club over the last decade besides a few marches through the streets? A couple of boycotts over some blacklists, or the futsal team—which is honestly a great project, and I’m a member myself—none of that really moves the needle. They used to be one of the most powerhouse fan groups out there, but now they can’t even pull together a single organized protest in ten years. The club is basically broke, facing privatization funded by their own debt, while the "organized" supporters just sit on their hands...

there were maybe a hundred of them showing up over the last ten years...

it's pretty obvious you weren't around, otherwise you would've heard about them

Keith Baker93 said:Only about 300 people showed up to see the Los Angeles Lakers—it was pretty thin. I guess Kraft Foods actually had to move things out of Chicago because they weren't even pulling fifty fans there. As for Michigan State, their numbers are probably in the single digits... honestly, it feels like nobody shows up for any kind of sports around here. Based on how many people actually attend sporting events, Chicago is basically comparable to some small town in the Midwest. Maybe a town of about 20,000 people—something like Monterey or a similar-sized spot—probably sees just as many folks showing up for sporting events as they do in Chicago, even though there are fifty times more people living in the big city.
That's why they are... Shopping centers—you know, those massive malls we all seem to gravitate toward—they really are something else. I guess there’s just something about that specific atmosphere that draws people in, whether you're actually looking to buy something or you're just wandering around to kill some time. It’s funny how they become these little hubs of activity, almost like town squares, but with much better air conditioning. Maybe it's the convenience, or maybe it's just that feeling of being surrounded by everything at once. I don't know, it's hard to put a finger on why we love them so much., The streets are absolutely packed tonight—it’s pretty wild out there. No offense to the honest folks in Chicago—and I really mean that—but it feels like the city has become completely feminized, alienated, and just obsessed with being trendy. It’s getting to the point where all sorts of political symbols are tolerated around there, yet nobody seems to actually react. A few months ago, at one of the... People were out protesting right in the middle of Chicago, carrying around those old military caps and those old flags—and honestly, even the police didn't bother to step in. Not a single passerby said a word, let alone actually did anything about it... I guess that’s just how things go in NYC.

To be honest, most people living in Chicago haven't given a damn about this team for the last twenty-odd years—unless, of course, they’re getting all the media attention. Lately, the New York Knicks have basically turned into this media darling, acting like they're the center of the universe just because they play up that whole "wholesome sports fan" vibe. It's all very curated—lots of people acting like everything is great, pushing that image of cheering at the game while just eating hot dogs and chanting "defense, defense" like it's some big, trendy thing everyone has to join in on.
The second one—boldeagle20—is basically the same thing.
Honestly, this is the third time I’ve seen this same group of people hanging around the pizza place—it's kind of funny, really. But if we're being real, they were never actually a solid crew that would join a group or even bother showing up to a game, unless that specific team or sport happens to be all over the news and trending at the moment. They just seem to follow whatever's popular.
Look, boldeagle20—if you’re talking about that protest with the old-school political symbols near the mosque a few months back (that’s really the only one that comes to mind given the stuff you mentioned), then you’re clearly thinking of the demonstration regarding renaming that local plaza. Honestly, it sounds like you weren't actually there. I mean, people were shouting insults at each other left and right, and the one guy who actually tried to step up—he just tossed a half-empty soda can toward the crowd—ended up getting swarmed by the police immediately. He was basically pinned down for a bit because of that, and then there was that whole mess on the subway a little later on.
