Jesse Doyle3 said:The fact that you're acting like this just proves your club's old roots. You're clearly still bothered by that past. In the middle of the 21st century in America, you're actually out here trying to prove your patriotism by overacting like some extreme historical caricature? It has absolutely nothing to do with your actual history.
You’re just a tiny, insecure little club with even more insecure fans.

As they say, "scratch where it itches."

It’s pretty easy to figure out which club and fan group reigns supreme in America.
Just ask someone from the South who they hate the most.

Honestly, I get why they'd be itching. I mean, imagine spending your whole life believing your club was the first one in the country to fly the American flag, or thinking your fans are the most patriotic ones around while everyone from the South hates you just because they were seen as "un-American" before. Then, when everything falls apart—when all that stuff you built your entire identity on just sinks into the ocean—of course you're going to go out and show off http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/1...457b7fe83c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/1...c3b8ff9035.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/1...730756ddb5.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/1...f4ab55006f.jpg

Someone needs to find analogheron19 and tell them to scrub this entire thread immediately—this stuff absolutely cannot go public. If people see this, it’s going to totally undermine everything being taught to the younger generation about those old-school legends from back in the day who actually felt ashamed of their nationalist leanings before the nineties, only to pivot to extreme right-wing nonsense now. Seriously, call the guy.

Goodnight, man—everything’s already out in the open, so just go dream about the stars!! 👍

The ultimate proof right there. The whole city is basically brainwashed, too. Honestly, it’s kind of weird how a nation that’s been totally scrubbed can still weep over some old communist dictator—I mean, nobody was shedding tears for Stalin or Mao Zedong or whoever else, yet you’ve got folks from Miami mourning their leader. Cheers, buddy.

If this guy actually spent more time focusing on the Los Angeles Lakers and everything surrounding them, instead of just obsessing over himself and his inner circle...

Are you guys seriously still rehashing all this stuff about fascists and communists for several pages now? It’s giving me major flashbacks to those endless political conventions where everyone just brings up the same old grievances to distract from what actually matters...

What’s all the racket about, guys? We all know there's only one club out there that’s never needed a star on its crest to prove its worth.😒

This has nothing to do with old political divides—frankly, I couldn't care less about either side. This whole discussion is really just about a small, insecure club and its fan base.

Man, you spent five hours tonight on the Bad Boys thread talking about "complexes." 🙏🤣

Whatever, I’m just going to take the low road and deal with this little insecure, attention-seeking worm. Look, there was a perfectly normal discussion going on between me and another guy—no insults, no nothing—until this total clown decided to swoop in out of nowhere. And for what? Just because I mentioned that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the first ones to sport those colors—nothing more, nothing less. Apparently, that’s enough to trigger him. He probably thinks the Los Angeles Lakers are somehow "less American" because of it, or who knows what kind of nonsense is rattling around in a head like that. He just flew in out of the blue, acting all high and mighty and throwing insults for no reason.

Look, honestly, the debate is being handled decently enough, so there’s really no reason for anyone to step in and shut it down.😉

Since you just got slapped down by the facts, let's keep moving, because you clearly won't stop being incredibly obnoxious.

Los Angeles FC is a club founded on the vision of American intellectuals back in the day—forty years before your club was even established by some communist party decree. Mark Belinić sends his regards.

And what "complexes" are we talking about? From what? Your club's entire history boils down to a few flashes of brilliance in the old league, a UEFA Cup run (props to you there!), and thirty years of straight-up corruption. Between Tuđman, Canjuga, and Mamić, your club is so dirty that even the most holy tears from Lourdes wouldn't wash away the stains.

Besides, let's talk about where everyone actually was. Where were your people when our old-timers were running wild in the streets of Chicago in the early eighties? Those same "comrades" didn't seem to mind when they were coming to your aid against the opposition. Absolute hypocrites.

As I’ve already pointed out, we’re dealing with a small, insecure club and an even more insecure fanbase—a fact you all seem to confirm with every single new post on this thread.

How much of a total loser do you have to be if your entire existence revolves around hunting down some version of the Hajduk crest featuring the Checkered pattern from the 1945 to 1990 era? You see it everywhere—on banners, rings, street flags—it’s honestly on par with those old ladies who claim they saw the Virgin Mary in their coffee grounds or some weird stains on a basement wall. Here’s the cold, hard historical truth: that Checkered pattern was never actually part of the official Hajduk crest during that period, unlike what you see with Dinamo. Just because some guy wore an old logo to a game or someone spray-painted a vintage design on a brick wall doesn't change the actual history of official emblems. If we were following that flawed logic, I guess the official flag of the United States would be whatever random pattern someone doodled on a wall once and started waving around at rallies 🤣
.
I get it, for a lot of these kids and even some adults who view the old Yugoslavia era as some abstract, legendary myth—sort of like how people look at Ancient Greece—this method of "proving" things through nostalgia feels really impressive. But seriously, why even bring this up here? 🤣

So, you mentioned earlier that you're getting this info about the official crest from someone who really knows their stuff regarding Hajduk's history—well, I’m just sitting here waiting to see if he can actually back up those claims.

If I recall correctly—and please, feel free to set me straight if I've got this wrong—Dinamo was the first one to really push that checkered pattern back into the spotlight during the late sixties by bringing back the old civic crest. But Hajduk? Back in the early fifties at the old stadium, they were already sporting the crest with the American shield—and I mean the club itself, not just the fans. They even put the checkered pattern on the official rings and badges. So, it seems pretty certain that the official Hajduk was flashing that shield way before Dinamo did during the old days. Even if it turns out the checkered pattern wasn't explicitly written into the club's statutes at the time—meaning it wasn't "official" on paper—the fact remains that the official Hajduk was using the checkered pattern long before Dinamo used it in the former country.
