Best antifreeze for my car?

Can someone break down how antifreeze poisoning actually works? (Sorry if my typing is a mess here...) I mean, what does the actual process of dying from it look like... when is there still a chance for medical intervention to save someone... thx =)

lol, no... I'm just genuinely wondering how the "victims" of all this actually get rescued... maybe I framed my opening post a bit poorly

It sounds like a total joke, but a few months back I actually read about this guy who downed a bunch of antifreeze and they had to give him an ethanol infusion to counter it. Only problem was, the hospital ran out of medical-grade ethanol, so they ended up just giving him vodka instead.

First aid for antifreeze poisoning? Just give them some whiskey. The liver's going to deal with the booze before it even touches the chemicals. As for what they do at the hospital, I haven't the slightest clue.

What actually happens if we just sit here and do nothing... I mean, obviously I know the end result is death, but what does that look like on a technical level? Like, which organs start shutting down first and how does the whole process actually play out...

It’s been quite a while, but I can't stop thinking about this one movie or series... it was about this young mother who ended up being accused of murdering her baby with antifreeze. If I remember correctly, she supposedly gave it to the infant, and the symptoms involved things like seizures, intense pain, and then falling into a coma before passing away—and apparently, the autopsy showed something specific in the brain. But here's the twist: years later, after she finally managed to get pregnant again, this second baby started showing all those exact same symptoms. It turns out it wasn't foul play at all, but some underlying medical condition where both babies just happened to have these identical symptoms that mimicked the effects of antifreeze poisoning.
