No, strictly singles.

I placed just one single bet on a local underdog for pennies—and I missed it.

I played just one folk song for the small stakes and missed it...

What’s your player limit at the moment?

It's at 83.33—which is pretty much where it started, if I recall correctly.

Works for me. 😁

How about yours?

That works for me...😁

Same here. Hopefully we aren't actually splitting anything with them...🤣

I haven't even been playing much with them lately...

Though I haven't really been playing with them lately.

Could be. 🤣

I’ve stuck exclusively to them and Pinnacle lately.

Their odds are excellent—it's just their site design that's a total disaster, but that's secondary. 😁

I've been sticking strictly to them and Pinnacle for the last few days.

Their odds are excellent, even if the site looks terrible. That’s secondary though. 😁

Personally, I find their layout better than Bet365; at least everything is easy to navigate.

James Taylor3 said:Nah, strictly singles.

I threw a tiny little cent bet on some random underdog and missed by a hair.

I don't know what kind of bankroll you're running, but they won't lock you out for two or three months. It’s the guys playing niche stuff—players who barely touch a soccer ball and mostly do whatever else—that get flagged. Those types aren't wanted, so they get limited more often. Personally, I burned through three different accounts there, and each one lasted shorter than the last. 😉

Unlike local sports bars, online books are way quicker to pull the plug on you. I’ve seen plenty of cases where people were actually down money at the sportsbook, yet they still got limited anyway.

First off, my apologies if this topic already exists. If the mods or admins need to move this thread elsewhere, please feel free to do so. I couldn't find any answers to my specific question while browsing the forum, which is why I'm putting it here. 🤣 🙂

I'm trying to wrap my head around how the whole process works. My plan is to eventually pick up a voucher at a local convenience store and use it to fund an account for sports betting, poker tournaments, or even online casinos—it doesn't really matter. I just want to get a better handle on how these transactions actually function before I jump in.

Could someone walk me through the downsides? I've heard rumors about withdrawal headaches and some sites still having paperwork issues with the provider, making vouchers unusable. Also, could you list some reliable sites that accept PayPal vouchers, or let me know which ones you all personally use for voucher deposits? Most importantly, where can I actually use them for poker tournaments?

I am trying to understand how the whole process works. My plan is to eventually stop by a convenience store, pick up a voucher, and use it to fund an account at a sportsbook, enter some poker tournaments, or perhaps use it at a casino—it doesn't particularly matter. However, I would first like to get a better grasp of how these transaction methods actually function.

If anyone could provide a detailed explanation regarding the downsides of using this method, I would appreciate it. I have heard rumors about withdrawal issues and that certain sportsbooks haven't finalized their paperwork with the provider yet, making the vouchers unusable. Additionally, could you suggest which platforms support these PayPal vouchers, or which ones you personally prefer for voucher deposits? Most importantly, could someone point me toward websites where these can be used specifically for poker tournaments?

I strongly suggest you don't waste your breath explaining anything to this individual, as he is clearly just a scammer... Furthermore, I wouldn't engage with him under any circumstances. He attempted to con me, though he was unsuccessful.

Hey there!!

So, I was wondering—do Betfair and especially DraftKings actually allow combo bets, or maybe even just doubles? ...I feel like I’ve seen some places claiming you can only really do singles on DraftKings, but is that just because they have such insane odds for singles and the best payouts out there? ...Also, from what I can tell, they shouldn't really have any deposit limits, right? ..I mean, specifically when you're looking at those little 2 or 3-leg parlays...

You can run combo parlays over at DraftKings, but if you're looking for the best odds on singles, that's where it's at.

You can play parlays, but not on their entire selection—only on what they specifically offer. DraftKings definitely isn't the move if you're looking to play parlays. For those types of tickets, MarathonBet is better...

Depends on what you’re betting on. Most US sportsbooks have "open" odds, meaning you don't even need to log in just to see what's available. Honestly, the best way to pick one is to scout which ones actually carry the games you want and then compare the lines. Simple as that.

I’ve been checking out DraftKings lately—actually, I just stumbled upon their platform quite recently—and I have to say, I’m actually digging this "self-control" feature they’ve rolled out. It essentially lets you set your own hard limits on daily or weekly spending, or even cap your total losses. Honestly? I didn't expect to see something like that from a site whose entire business model relies on getting people to deposit more cash and, well, lose it. It feels almost counterintuitive for them! But here’s the catch—and it’s a frustrating one—you can basically toggle that setting off whenever you feel like it. So, what’s really the point of having it in the first place if there isn't any real teeth behind it? Is it just for show? Maybe I’m just doing something wrong here, but every single time I try to set a limit, I somehow find a way to disable it right back.

It doesn't matter what "options" they offer if they don't actually mean anything—it's all just theater. Look, if I turn on a self-exclusion tool, let's be honest, I'm doing it because I know my own lack of willpower when it comes to depositing money. I set a daily limit, thinking I've finally taken control, hit that limit, and—in a logical world—the site would block me from adding more funds until tomorrow. But does that happen? Not a chance. You just hop right back into the settings, toggle the self-control off, and you're right back where you started. It's an absolute joke.

It’s a remarkably clever feature, isn't it? You get to dictate your own "self-control," adjusting the limits whenever you please. If you set them too low and end up hitting the cap, you just turn it off and go again. The only thing more brilliant than that is being able to discuss it here on the forum and wonder aloud just how much sense it actually makes.

It's basically fake self-control. 🙂
With the Democratic Party, you can make changes, but there's a 24 or 48-hour delay before they kick in—I can't quite remember which one.
