Hey, hope I'm asking this in the right spot.
I could use some help here because I don't know much about hardware.
I'm looking to pick up a motherboard (preferably used) that works with these specs:

CPU - LGA775 socket (Pentium D 925)
RAM - DDR2-800 (Kingmax 2x1GB)
GPU - PCI-E (HD 2600XT GDDR3 256MB)
PSU - ATX (MS 400W)
HDD - SATA (WD250)
ODD - IDE (TSSTcorp DVD/RW)

Also, the board needs integrated network and sound, plus at least 4 USB ports.

Let me know if you have any suggestions, advice, or offers. I ended up with all these parts except the motherboard, so I want to put a PC together for my kids to use for browsing the web and playing whatever games this old setup can actually handle.

Unfortunately, that’s a pretty old socket—you're likely looking at hunting down a used motherboard on eBay or Craigslist. Whereabouts are you located? I could probably help you scout some listings if I knew your area. Otherwise, do you already have the rest of the components, or are you planning on skipping them? Also, what kind of budget are we working with here?
