I am currently on the hunt for a keyboard featuring scissor switches—you know, those low-profile, flat keys similar to what you find on a high-end laptop. My primary use cases involve heavy programming sessions and gaming. I actually had my eye on the Logitech K740 Illuminated because it looked absolutely perfect, but I was disappointed to discover that it fails to register the Shift + W + Space combination, which is an essential shortcut for quick sprinting and jumping in games 👎 .
The core issue is that I really dislike traditional, deep keycaps; I much prefer the feel of "flat" keys as they make typing feel significantly smoother and more effortless for me. Ideally, I am looking for a full-sized layout with dedicated arrow keys and a separate number pad, rather than those cramped, compact designs where everything is squeezed together. If anyone happens to have a solid recommendation, I would be incredibly grateful—preferably something priced under $167, though I am willing to consider higher-end options if they are worth it
