I’ve been reading through these stories from women talking about how traumatic the stitches can be, but honestly, my brain just completely tuned out the pain in that moment. My entire focus was just on the Baby. Recovery is different for everyone, though. It really depends on how quickly you get back on your feet or how you handle it if the healing process takes longer than expected.
