I’ve been scrolling through YouTube lately—and honestly, most boy bands seem to be coming out of Asia (specifically Japan and South Korea). They aren't all terrible, obviously; there's plenty of stuff that feels overly manufactured or just plain soft, but you can actually find a few decent groups—and quite a few that sound better than the Jonas Brothers

Basically, a boy band is just a group made up entirely of guys.☕

So, by that logic, any black metal, death metal, rock, or punk band that doesn't have a woman in it is technically a boy band—even if they'd much rather be called a "man band."🤣

The other day, my sister's friend swung by with her 7-year-old daughter—they were hanging out at our place when the radio started playing one of those songs, and the little one immediately recognized it and started beltng out the lyrics... We asked her who her favorite artists were, and she just beamed, telling us all about how much she loves the Jonas Brothers and how Hannah Montana is her absolute favorite. 🥳

Really? It was the exact same thing here; my little girl was only seven when she recognized the references from Camp Rock, and she's just as obsessed with Hannah Montana

Honestly, my favorites have gotta be Take That, A1, and Westlife 🙂... I mean, don't get me wrong, the Backstreet Boys are super popular and they're good, but there's definitely better stuff out there if you know where to look 😉
