Exactly. It’s the Anopheles kind of mosquito. Female ones, obviously 😁 😉. That's pretty much the main way—if not the only way. It’s extremely rare, almost theoretical at this point, through blood transfusions (not really an issue here in the States) or from mother to fetus.

I get that mosquitoes are the issue... but can an infected person actually pass it directly to someone else? You know, through coughing, saliva, or stuff like that
