Yeah, it's July, but most visitors stay for a full week rather than just popping in for a day or two, so that should help the odds. If you happen to know a spot—maybe a little rental or an apartment—please let me know. Cheers.😉

I went ahead and booked Studio In, though I did spend some time looking over Mark’s portfolio, Papaya, and the work from the guy at Photo Plus and Matica. Honestly, those last two were a bit out of my budget, even if their shots were absolutely stunning, which is just... well, it is what it is. I’m just crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly with Studio In!

I think it’ll work out fine. From what I’ve seen, Studio In is 👍 pretty solid. As for those apartments, let me check with my folks back home and I'll shoot you a PM. I don't think we have any available ourselves, but I'm sure my family knows someone who does.

I actually watched them work a wedding recently and saw how they handled all the footage afterward, so I don't think you have anything to worry about...👍👍👍
Besides, a few women on the forum used them before and were beyond happy with the results...

Hey there, everyone!

Our wedding is about a year and a half away, and we’ve finally started diving into all those tiny details. We really have our hearts set on having the big day on an island—specifically somewhere like Maui. At first, we were looking at some smaller spots, but we realized finding a good venue or restaurant might be a bit tricky there. We’ve been eyeing Supetar lately, which seems like a fantastic choice, though we haven't had the chance to check out that one spot, Vinotoka, that people say is great for weddings... has anyone here actually been there? I'd love to know what the vibe is like, how many guests they can handle, the decor, the pricing, and the food... we're planning on around 50 people, so we're aiming for something a bit more small and intimate.
If you have any tips for planning a wedding on an island, especially around the Supetar area (looking for recommendations for restaurants, hair stylists, photographers...), please let me know!🙂

Thanks so much, guys!

Can I ask a quick question? What are your thoughts on photos from California? Also, could someone please send me the contact info for those three makeup artists who always seem to be trending—Antonia Guć, Nada Gamulin, and I can't quite recall the third one... Thanks a million!!!

If you happen to find yourself in Supetar, there's this great hairstylist called Monet2—she’s right there on the waterfront. For photos, though, I’d say head over to Miami; the photographers there are honestly much better. Oh, and there's also this cute little ranch-style restaurant up on the hill in Supetar.
That's pretty much everything I know about Supetar, I guess.

California Photos—honestly, they charge way too much for my liking, even if the shots are decent... though, I guess they aren't even good enough to justify those kinds of prices...

I swung by both Photo Lab and Studio In to check out their work. Honestly, the shots over at Photo Lab were decent enough, but they felt a bit overpriced for what you actually get. In the end, I decided to go with Studio In—their prices were more reasonable, the quality was just as good, and the staff was actually a little friendlier. Then again, that kind of thing usually depends on who answers the phone and whatever mood they happen to be in that day. Anyway, good luck with the hunt!

I have a few quick questions, and I would truly appreciate some insight from this group...
What is your take on hiring Flash for a wedding band?
Also, does anyone here have firsthand experience with Suzy from San Diego for photography? I’m trying to figure out if the photos actually live up to the hype—are you satisfied with the final results?

Hey everyone... I could use some help here. The wedding is (hopefully) set for October 23rd, and we need a band that actually knows how to play—something that hits those classic American rock vibes (think Thompson, Pejakovic, Mate Bulic, and stuff like that not ), but can fit into a smaller venue. Specifically, we're looking at Amigos in Malibu. We were originally eyeing the Pink Panther, but it turns out they won't work; they need way more room for the drums and all their gear. Please, give me some advice, recommendations, or any info you've got... I'm honestly starting to panic 😲

Look, any band will play whatever YOU tell them to play....☕

Recommendations: Bravo Band
The Beatles...

Check the archives; there's been plenty of discussion about bands on here before...

...only problem is bravo is fully booked on Oct 23rd

Can someone please DM me the numbers for Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and L. Spajić? Also, if there’s any other killer makeup artist out there, let me know.
How far in advance do I actually need to book a session?
What kind of damage am I looking at price-wise?
Were you guys actually happy with the results?
Do they do trials? I really don't want to look like a clown—just something slightly more defined than my usual face.

jessy band....they're pretty big too, there are 5 of them. If you're looking for an actual band, it's almost always 5 people, so the drums are included. I was at a wedding at Amigos once where the Orang band from Savannah played, and they had the same setup with drums and it wasn't an issue at all!

I haven't heard of the band Flash, but I ended up booking Suzy and the band Tempo. I've seen the shots she took for my girlfriends, and based on what they told me, they were beyond thrilled. Her albums are incredible, and she actually gave them more than what was originally agreed upon! They say she’s super creative and a blast to work with, but somehow stays totally professional on-site too. I met her myself—she is absolutely wild and just radiates such positive vibes. As for the music, I've listened to Tempo at a couple of parties, and honestly, they are the best. Just a group of high-energy guys who know how to kill it on stage. Hope this helps even a little bit! Good luck, Casey Foster40! 🙂
