Check under the albums—she has a section for wedding makeup... Any idea what she charges for that?

On her previous pages, it mentioned $83 including false lashes and a trial run $33. I'm hoping she hasn't raised her rates too much; I just sent her a message on Facebook, so I suppose we'll see.

Hey, does anyone know where I can pick up some thicker, heavier cardstock for making DIY invitations?
If they have any decent gold tones available, that would be even better... thanks.

What's the deal with their albums or videos? Basically, any info at all would be super helpful. Also, if you have any recommendations for someone else you actually like who won't break the bank, please 🙂

We also looked into Jukica and Bonačić. We don't know what they charge, but the photos look good. Still searching for recommendations, though. A few people have been messaging us privately, and honestly, every single bit of advice helps 😉

I picked mine up at that Art Shop downtown—you know, the one right across from the main Post Office, near the Semafor cafe

I know for sure they carry silver shades, though I'm not 100% certain about any gold options...

You might also want to check out General Mills over in San Diego, near that Lidl

Hey there,
does anyone here happen to have any firsthand experience with the Radisson in San Diego?? I’m looking into the pricing, the food quality, and how the staff treats guests. On paper, the place looks pretty decent, but I’d love to hear some real-world feedback before we commit—we're talking about a group of roughly 70 to 80 people!
thanks

Anyone been to the Getty Center in San Francisco?
Anyone know what the going rates are for rentals around here?

I was reading somewhere that the rental fee for the Getty Center might actually just cover the space itself $13. It’s basically just you getting the room, and then you have to figure out all the extras on your own—like finding a caterer, setting up the lighting (which is pretty vital since it's such an open layout), and all those other little details...

DAMN. 😁
I was expecting a number, but not *that* high... haha..
Gonna double check the math.....

Just looking for something outdoors—like a terrace or a courtyard.

I think you're looking at the daily rental fee for the Getty Center $6667 for just one day. You should also check out the outdoor VIP deck at the Radisson, or maybe Benedikt Restaurant if you're planning a smaller wedding.

Nice.
The Radisson is actually my top pick, especially if the Getty Center is pricey..
Gonna look into Benedikt Restaurant too.. yeah, keeping the wedding small.

Thanks

Look, if anyone happens to need a contact number for Lucija Spajić, I’ve got it... just shoot me a DM. I'm rarely hanging around here much anyway. 😉

I’ve been spending a little time lately reading through everyone’s thoughts on various venues, the catering, the staff, and all that, and since I find myself in rather a peculiar situation—having two weddings to attend at the exact same location over the next two weekends—I felt compelled to share my impressions after experiencing the first one at Lora Restaurant at Poljud. Last week's reception hosted about 170 guests spread across 19 tables, held entirely on the restaurant's terrace, which, in my estimation, is a massive advantage over other venues; being so close to the ocean and the natural scenery makes a world of difference when the weather actually cooperates. The manager is a true professional, and we were quite literally allowed to decide whether we wanted the ceremony indoors or outdoors right up until the very last minute. As for the food, it was genuinely, exceptionally good (my only minor grievance being directed at the groom, who decided to ban alcohol after just an hour 🙂). It is abundantly clear that the staff is expertly managed to ensure such seamless service; you have servers who don't hover unnecessarily, yet they possess that uncanny ability to notice the moment something is missing and bring it out before you even realize you need to ask; all while maintaining an incredible level of politeness throughout the entire evening. I am genuinely curious to see if they can replicate this level of performance next weekend for a much larger crowd of 280 people...
My only real complaint would be Jessy band and their somewhat vague and lackluster repertoire 👎
All things considered, having attended dozens of weddings, I would personally rank them number one when it comes to service 😉

I’m looking for some folk musicians for a party in San Francisco this July. It'll be an evening thing in a rented hall. But I need the real deal—string players, maybe someone who can pull out an accordion too.
Does anyone know anyone living in San Francisco or the surrounding area who's around this summer?
I feel like if I start bringing people in from New York City or the Midwest, the travel costs and hotels are going to absolutely wreck me.

I agree with everything said here. That was my experience too when I went to see a smaller reception held indoors—only about 80 people...
I’m planning on being outside, and I love that you can tell them the day before if the forecast looks bad or if it’s supposed to rain...
The only thing bothering me about the indoor setup is that wall in the middle; it makes the space feel a bit disjointed and cramped... but I’m really hoping we can manage to stay outdoors.... They even let us sample the food, and it was great...
They also do catering, where the menu is slightly different—like that octopus salad and things like that—and honestly, it doesn't look half bad....

We've got Bravo Band on our minds, so if anyone could share some recent experiences with them, that would be amazing. We've already reached out and talked numbers. My musical taste is kind of all over the place—a mix of everything local and international, I guess. Thanks so much!

I am honestly so thrilled you picked the Sky! 🙂
Please, please let us know how everything turns out—I want all the juicy details about the venue itself!
Wishing you the absolute best of luck! 😉

Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone here might have some firsthand experience working with R&B studio? We are currently weighing our options regarding setting up a photo and video studio, so any insights or feedback you could share would be incredibly helpful to us. Thanks so much! 😉

He's a fantastic photographer... I've actually attended two different weddings where he was behind the lens. 🙂

Look, Bravo Band definitely knows how to get a party moving, but they aren't exactly known for sticking to the couple's specific song requests.
