Henry Barnes4 said:Hey, I could use some advice. I’m looking into booking Sky for a party next year for about 230-250 people, but I’ve heard some rumors lately that the space might be too small for a group that size... specifically that the dance floor would end up feeling tiny. I was wondering if any of you have been there or hosted an event there before? What do you all think?

I’m trying to figure out what the average price per person looks like at each—and more importantly—what the common complaints are based on your own experiences. I haven't been able to find much feedback specifically on the Radisson Blu, so any heads-up would be appreciated. Thanks so much for the help!

Rebecca Murphy5 said:Hey fly... about those vital records... you’re probably gonna need to get in touch with the local county clerk's office to verify birth certificates and citizenship papers. Honestly, you can usually handle most of that over the phone. As for the godparents, they just need to send over copies of their IDs. But, if I were you, I'd try to head down there in person at least a month in advance to hammer out all the timing and logistics. That’s what I was told, anyway. I’m not sure which specific municipal office you're dealing with, but just look up the number online and give them a ring... man, they transferred me like ten different times when I called, but they eventually got everything sorted for me. It’s definitely best to double-check just so you don't run into any surprises... hope this helps you out even just a little bit 🙂

The indoor hall holds about 260 people, whereas if you opt for the tent setup—which comes with all that outdoor scenery like the creek, waterfall, lake, greenery, lawns, and the fountain—you’re looking at a capacity anywhere from 300 to 450 guests.
A deposit of $220 is required, and if you decide to go with the tent and the outdoor space, there's an additional $1667 (the tent rental itself runs $3333), plus you'll need to cough up another 30% three months out.
Menu pricing starts at around $42 and goes up from there.
As for the feedback I've heard, some people have complained that the food portions are a bit light... hmmm... though personally, the hall looks perfectly fine to me.
And then there's that one question that keeps popping up: can the pirate restaurant actually handle 200 people? Some folks claim the sweet spot is really only 70 to 100 guests... while others told me it can squeeze in about 200-ish, even if the dance floor gets a little cramped. If only they would just expand the pirate restaurant a bit... that would solve all my problems.😁

copperowl13 said:Haha... honestly, I have a feeling we’ll be crossing names off that list until we finally hit the 130 mark.
I am completely lost here 😕😂... I was so certain we'd go with the pirate theme... great food, close to the beach... everything seemed set. But then suddenly there are 200 people on the guest list? Now I have no idea what to do... and places like San Diego or Santa Monica aren't even an option anymore. Total bridezilla mode incoming. 🙂
