Has anyone caught a Barbary set at a party lately? If you have, I'd love to hear how they were...

I am looking for some recommendations regarding catering, makeup, hairstyling, and floral arrangements for a wedding in San Francisco. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Honestly, I was so happy with everything we used...

Cvijećarnica runolist in San Diego — really reasonable prices
Makeup — Tina Kalinić
Hair — Sanka in San Francisco
Homemade cookies, and a Delta cake

Hey girls... guys... I don't really feel like scrolling through all these pages right now, so could you maybe help me out with something? Does anyone actually know anything about Jessie Bend? I'm not from San Francisco, so I'm kind of out of the loop here, and there's basically zero info online—plus everyone I ask seems to have no clue who they are. They happen to be free on our date, so that's why we were even looking at them... thanks much

They sound awesome. Great vocals, total rockers. If I were getting married, they'd be my first choice. Highly recommend. 🙂

I'd suggest Kolači-Viadel—they’re super organized, delicious, and won't break the bank. For makeup, go with Šminka-Lucija Spajić. As for the flowers, check out the Kolura flower shop over in San Diego; they're affordable and absolutely fantastic.

Hey ladies, I could use a little guidance here. Does anyone have a sense of how many photos typically end up in those digital albums included in a photographer's package? I’ve currently got about 250 shots sitting in one single album, and that’s the extent of it. Apparently, everything else is tucked away on a CD, and they’re asking a rather steep price to get my hands on them. I’m feeling a bit stuck on how to handle this—any advice would be much appreciated.

I think having around that same amount is more than enough, isn't it? Personally, I wouldn't want an entire album dedicated solely to us posing for the camera anyway. That’s why I made a specific arrangement with my photographer: we'll do a few quick poses after the ceremony at the church, but I want the bulk of our collection to consist of those spontaneous, candid moments captured during the reception, the service, and all those little unscripted instances that actually mean something.

Look, is it more important to have 16 different albums and books filled with 1,000 mediocre shots, or just one single album with 250 amazing ones? When you're shopping for a photographer, look at their actual portfolio, not how many albums they can sell you. Quality is everything, and once the day is over, there's no fixing bad photos.

If you actually have good shots, it's easy enough to just buy an album later and get them printed yourself. 🙂

P. S. An album with 200 photos is plenty to tell the whole story of your wedding.

Can anyone give me some solid advice on picking out an accordion—maybe a duo or trio setup—specifically for playing weddings? You know, the standard stuff at the reception when the newlyweds are making their entrance. Any tips would be appreciated.

Does anyone actually have a phone number for Viadel? I've been scouring the internet and coming up totally empty...

Hey everyone... I was wondering if anyone knows of a nice banquet hall that can fit up to about 100 people in the San Francisco area? Ideally, I'd love somewhere with a killer waterfront restaurant nearby that actually takes reservations.
Second thing on my mind... I’m also looking for some solid recommendations for makeup artists and hairstylists in the San Francisco area 🙂
Thanks a bunch!!

I’ve been with them for about four or five weddings now. They’re absolute entertainers... easily in my top three recommendations.🙂

Hey, I'm looking into getting some pastry boxes... do people usually grab them based on the guest count, or what? And where can I find the best deals? At Nirsa they're $0.73 per piece, is that actually the cheapest way to go?
