You can just cut off whatever amount you need, and it holds up against the rain just fine.

bambina a, looks like it’s actually worth making the trip out to that shop in Indianapolis—they have everything you need for a wedding. $13 In Savannah, they're selling organza for

That foil looks just like tile to me... does it come in any other colors besides white? Honestly, though, white is my favorite—it looks the most elegant and classy...

Where'd you guys get the idea for this agroforestry stuff? It’s actually a killer idea

kiara 7 and renata 30, I am seriously dying to hear what you guys think about Victoria's makeup services! I actually just placed my own order with her too 🙂

Yeah, I agree, it looks Superman. Unfortunately, it only comes in white. I’m not sure how you’d go about dyeing plastic; you could probably hack it with some spray paint, but personally, I thought the white was perfect since the roses were blue and orange.

Can you tell me where that shop is exactly? Like, near what landmark? I'm not great with street names, but just give me an idea of the area 🙂

Just wanted to vent for a second... I stopped by that jeweler, Bauman, over at Emerson... and honestly? What a letdown. Everything I asked for was a "no." You go to a custom jeweler who doesn't even keep stock on hand, only to find out they can't actually design anything more interesting than a basic ring you could pick up at any mall. I really expected more from them. 😢What a waste of time.
Does anyone know a decent custom jeweler around here or maybe in NYC that won't charge me an absolute fortune?

We actually picked ours up in Aurora,$833! Maybe try sending him an email with some photos? That way you can ask for a rough price estimate and see if he's actually up for the task

If you're coming from Warsaw, there's a jeweler called Rome in the shopping mall. We already finished our rings even though the wedding isn't until October; we already paid them $667.

Thanks, ladies... We were planning on heading to Paris anyway, either during this long weekend or when I take my vacation. Hopefully everything works out. I could even fly to Rome today, but I've heard some people complaining about the quality of the gold there, huh? We'll see. Thanks 😉.

granitegull35 said:I’ll stick to their pastries, but my aunt actually makes cakes for that guy and they’re amazing (at least the ones I've had)! Won't be getting cakes from them though, since I get a sweet discount at my aunt's place!😉

I’m currently being served their cakes at the office, so I’ve been wondering about the actual quality—I’m planning to give them a proper test run soon, along with my mom, just to see if we should consider switching vendors entirely. My main priority is that they aren't loaded with margarine; I want something that actually tastes good, even if the aesthetic is just "fine" rather than spectacular. By the way, does Ujna do any catering work? I still haven't decided who is going to handle the wedding cake!

I can't say for sure, but personally, I found it really worthwhile to pick up that specific fabric along with some decorative ribbons for the invitations 🙂

It's right by the Superman store. You can walk in through the main entrance, or if you prefer, there's an entrance on the back side right by the parking lot! 🙂

Look, the ones I've tried are great and don't have tons of margarine in them! As for me, my aunt works at a bakery production facility and she's handling all our cakes, including the big wedding one.

I hosted my wedding reception at a venue near Des Moines—it was run by a Ford enthusiast and a guy who knows his Shakespeare—and honestly, I couldn't be happier. It was incredibly affordable; we were looking at just $22 per person. That price covered everything: the entire hall, the servers, all the food, and the drinks. You basically just show up and leave—zero stress, zero headaches. To top it off, they even threw in a free lunch the next day for everyone (there were 60 of us at that lunch), which was just fantastic.

Hopefully, you can check it out here:

My trial makeup session was honestly perfect, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Victoria is such a lovely, easygoing person; she's incredibly easy to coordinate with. She executed my vision exactly as I had imagined it. We hit it off immediately, and she applied my makeup in a way that actually looks like me—not like I'm wearing some heavy mask! I will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her services.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid hair salon in Columbus? Please! 🙂
I heard that feminine place was supposed to be good, but I actually went there once and honestly, I wasn't really feeling it. 😢

My regular stylist is all the way in Indianapolis, and I just don't feel like driving out there on a Wednesday. I've got my wedding coming up in three months and I'm low-key freaking out that I won't find anyone or that every single salon will be fully booked by then!

frozenangler87, Studio 54—that specific style is quite good, at least from what I can recall of my own experiences... so, yeah... 😉
