Boxing is always a solid way to start. It builds a great foundation, and you can easily transition into other styles later on.

How would you say "Thai boxing" right now in Thai?

Honestly, that sounds like the best move.👍

My recommendation: check out the clubs in Holy Spirit or Spartan. You could also try UFK Dubrava, though I'm not sure about their exact schedule—they mostly focus on MMA, so they might have Muay Thai sessions tucked in there somewhere.

That works too. I’m just saying, if you’re feeling unsure about boxing, you really can't go wrong with that choice.

Thanks, guys. One more question: I'm 15 and a half. Is it too late to start training something like this?

There’s a massive problem here, and it’s because I’m stuck way too far from the city.

If you truly desire to train, make a sacrifice.

What, should we be reading your mind or just intuitively guessing where you're posting from?🙄

Whatever happened to basic manners?

"I am Benjamin Robinson31, I want to practice something, blah blah blah, I live in a small town in the Midwest...
"
You ask a question like that, and you get exactly the kind of answer you deserve...

So, it’s Friday—today, actually...

It’s honestly a bit pathetic—the state of my training at this little local gym. I mean, what can you even call it? Since the head coach couldn't make it in, I’ve managed to scrape together maybe ten sessions in two whole months. Ten. That's it. How am I supposed to make any real progress when the leadership is basically non-existent? It's frustrating, really.

Is there actually such a thing as being too old to start training some kind of martial art, assuming you haven't done anything before?

Is there any kind of official rulebook for karate matches here in the States?
All I can find online is stuff in Canadian 😢.

Here’s something like that.
