Grab a test! (For anyone wondering if they're pregnant)

quietcrane, pregnancy tests can be pretty unreliable when it comes to beta levels, and those levels are constantly climbing during pregnancy. According to the instructions on the box, you can use them on the day your period is supposed to start, but even the cheapest drugstore brand might show a false positive then... if you don't see anything and your period still hasn't arrived, just give it a few more days and try again.

So I picked up some Clearblue and Google tests, and both came back positive... As far as symptoms go, I’ve just got breakouts everywhere like I’m going through puberty all over again, an insane appetite, and I've already put on about 15 pounds and my waist is up by 3 inches. My last period was on June 9th. 😍I'm gonna die tomorrow 😍

Sweetie, I bought a test for $6.75 and my OB-GYN told me price doesn't matter at all; they can all show whether you're pregnant or not!

Is it even possible to feel symptoms like lower back pain just two days after sex? Isn't that a bit too soon... I guess? Right now I'm worried it might be my kidneys, so if there's any kind soul out there who could maybe calm my nerves with a few words

I work in an all-female office, and when I mentioned what was hurting, they immediately jumped to conclusions and assumed I was pregnant. I'm heading to the doctor tomorrow morning, though. I still have this feeling it might be my kidneys.

Imagine this, my period started this morning right before I finally got called back by the doctor. And when I actually saw her, she tells me that’s the whole reason. I totally lost it, 😠because my periods are already bad enough, but this is just insane. In the end, she just told me to go get blood work done once it passes and to just head home and rest. But I have no idea how I'm supposed to go home since she didn't give me any medical leave or anything.
Now I'm at work, and I can barely sit still, I can't lie down, I can't do anything..........

That’s kind of why I’m asking... when you're trying to conceive, you start imagining symptoms that probably aren't even there...
When is the best time to take a test? Like, once you miss a period, or can you actually do it before then?

I actually took the test the night my period was supposed to start, using one of those $5.00 kits because I honestly couldn't wait until morning—it flashed a positive right away. My cycles are usually pretty damn consistent, mostly 28 days (last month was even 26!), so I just timed it based on my longest possible cycle to be safe. That's when I finally bit the bullet and tested.

My cycles are pretty regular too, usually 28 days... though they've dropped to 27 for the last couple of months. I'm expecting my next one around December 28th, so I guess I'll just take a test on New Year's Eve if nothing happens by then.

Question... my cycle has been acting weird for two months now. It shows up late and then only lasts about three days—that was the case last month and again this month. On top of all that, my breasts have been aching for a month straight. It comes and goes, I don't know. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet, and I haven't seen my OB-GYN either. Just wondering if anyone here has dealt with anything similar... thanks.

It’s not just the pain, either. There’s this black discoloration around my nipples, and naturally, they've become slightly swollen too...

I'm experiencing some strange symptoms lately. First off—my period is three days late. Since I stopped taking birth control, it’s never been more than a day or two behind. For the last couple of days, I've had intense abdominal cramping—almost like labor pains—but nothing has happened. The only thing I've noticed is a significant increase in discharge. I've always had some, but never anything this substantial. Regarding my breasts—the sensation is reversed. 😁 Usually, they are so tender before my period that even a light touch is unbearable, but this month, nothing. They just seem larger—though perhaps that's just me searching for symptoms where none exist.🤣
Has anyone else dealt with this specific combination of symptoms?
I plan to pick up a test on Monday if my period doesn't arrive by then—though I can't promise I won't be racing to the CVS at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning instead.😍

Just some pale, washed-out version of a plus... I don't even know anymore... strange... she could probably use a little more Gin & Tonic. 🙂
