Iβm dying to get in on this too, but everyone keeps telling me I should just wait until tomorrow morning!

I honestly think that discharge might actually be one of those early signs that you're pregnant...π

Honestly, just take a test and don't brush off that brown dischargeβif it's positive, you should probably head over to a clinic like Planned Parenthood ASAP.

Listen, honey, πthat could definitely be the start of a pregnancy... I guess I should tell you how it went for me. My period was supposed to arrive on Monday, but then I woke up with this light brownish spotting and I just thought, okay, here we go... it's starting. But then nothing happened the rest of the day. Nothing the next day either. By the third day, I honestly couldn't wait any longer, so I grabbed a test and just did it. And wouldn't you know it... there was a huge, unmistakable plus sign. So now, my baby and I are at 11 weeks and 7 days. πππ
So... yeah. I'm pretty impatient, I suppose. π

So, yeah, looks like there are a few more people who see it my way..
oh, thanks.. honestly, that makes me pretty happy π

I truly believe youβre going to be so happy; honestly, this is the best news anyone could hear...π
But how much more joy can you even handle once you finally get to meet your little one?ππ

Congrats on the upvote. Unfortunately, the witch woke me up at the crack of dawn this morning. Iβm feeling pretty low about it, but hopefully things will look up next month...

Thanks to everyone for the advice and all the support, but lookβit actually happened. I failed. π’ It doesn't matter, thoughβI'm feeling a little down right now, but I'll get over it.

So, here is my question:
Is there any chance that a pregnancy test (like Clearblue) could show a positive result even if there isn't actually a pregnancy?

I've already mentioned this before, but the answer is no; those tests look specifically for the hormone that only shows up during pregnancy, so while you might get a false negative, you won't get a false positiveβso congratulations, you're going to be a dad!

How can it be positive if thereβs no pregnancy?
Well, it can if you're dealing with some kind of underlying issue.
That was actually my biggest fear when my first test came back positiveβthat it wasn't a baby, just some medical glitch. I went straight to get my blood work done to check my hCG levels, which confirmed I was pregnant, but even then, I couldn't stop spiraling. I was a nervous wreck waiting for that first ultrasound, constantly worrying about what the doctor would find. Was it a healthy pregnancy? An ectopic one? Something worse? Honestly, I didn't breathe a sigh of relief until I saw my Adam tucked away safely in the womb on the monitor.
