analogskipper12, I’m crossing my fingers for you that it ends up being a positive. My advice? Pull the beta out...

What can a beta actually prove if you aren't even showing up on the ultrasound?
I mean, if you aren't pregnant, you just aren't 🤷
.
PS, the test came back negative again. Still no period.
I feel like I'm doing something wrong here 🤣

Look, I don't have much experience with this, but you're already seven days late. Just go see a doctor! 👍

My cycle used to be late by two weeks all the time.

Ever think it could be a cyst on an ovary? A cyst gave me nothing but headaches and always messed up my timing.

@ rapidrider3 my cycle has never been late before (okay, fine, maybe back in my teens, but that was ages ago🤣)
I don't have any cysts, honestly. I made sure to get thoroughly checked out by several specialists before we even started trying to conceive☕
A cyst would have messed up my period anyway, and wouldn't it show up on a pelvic ultrasound?

But I'm already spiraling here. What am I supposed to do?
Are there any biochemists or doctors among us—whether we're actually pregnant or just wannabes?
I mean, if I had gotten my period, I’d know we missed our window for this cycle🙂 but right now, I'm completely lost on what the next move is.🤷

Good grief...
If you're in the city, just head to an urgent care clinic to get your beta levels checked via bloodwork. They won't give you a specific number, but if it comes back negative, you have your answer... and if it's positive, you move forward

Blood tests are far more reliable than those little urine strips🤷 plus they aren't much more expensive than the kits you buy at CVS$13)

I really don't know. Either you're just stressing too much and that's the culprit, who knows. It happened to me once—missed by two weeks, bought three different tests, all negative. I was losing my mind. I told myself, "just get through the weekend and go to the doctor," and then boom, my period shows up immediately.

As for why? God knows. A little stress here, some nerves there, husband getting on my last nerve, kids being kids, bills piling up... the body keeps score of all that crap.

Just wait until your next period is due, then maybe go get some blood work done. Honestly, I'm not sure how else I can help.

Good luck.😍

Look, I’ve heard of cases where a woman was twelve days late and all three tests came back negative, only for the fourth one to finally show a positive. But regardless, you need to go see a doctor. I'm pulling for you and hoping everything turns out alright.

Does anyone know if headaches and a fever can actually pop up alongside those usual pregnancy symptoms? Is that even normal???
Also, I spotted a Clearblue test at the drugstore—has anyone here actually used one before?

I’ve scrolled through enough similar threads to lose my mind, but I felt compelled to start my own because the sheer volume of existing posts is just overwhelming.
So, here’s the situation: my period is two weeks late. Given the symptoms I’m dealing with, I’m fairly certain I’m pregnant, but I have to ask—is it actually normal to deal with splitting headaches and a fever?
I haven't even taken a test yet, so there’s still that nagging doubt. Is it possible this isn't pregnancy at all, but just some random bug or illness? This is all brand new territory for me, so please, don't hold back on the advice—give it to me straight!
I did read that Clearblue tests are pretty reliable; has anyone here actually used one? 🤷🙏🙄🙂

Just grab a test and you'll have your answer in like five minutes... I used Clearblue back in the day and honestly, it works just fine enough for me.

Headaches definitely happen.

I dealt with some pretty brutal headaches myself, and staying on top of my water intake was the only thing that helped.

Could you give me a breakdown of the test? Just keep it as simple as possible.

I had a fever too, but no headache... everyone's body reacts differently.
Just grab a test tomorrow morning and stop guessing.👍

Listen, both a fever and headaches can definitely be signs of pregnancy. Since you're already two weeks behind, honestly, just go grab a test and pee on it. If it comes back positive, head over to a CVS or Walgreens and ask the pharmacist what's safe to take for the headache.
When I did my first test, I went with Clearblue and it was spot on—it showed a positive, which turned out to be right since my period never showed up. There are plenty of other brands out there too, so just check the shelf at the drugstore. And seriously, let us know what happens! 😍

Honestly, that test is just a massive money pit. It’s expensive and, frankly, a complete waste of cash when you consider that $12 already does a killer job and stays incredibly accurate. If you're going to bother doing it at all, you might as well use your first morning urine to get any sense of reliability.

Look, just run the test yourself first, then you can worry about what ☕ thinks about it.

Go ahead and take a test. I didn't have a fever, but my head was pounding quite a bit during the early stages of pregnancy. Especially with this crazy weather we've been having lately. If you're already two weeks late, you can test at any time of day. Clearblue is fine, but you don't really need to drop a ton of money on an expensive kit. Last time, I just grabbed one of those cheap strips from $8.25. I tested around 6 PM, a day before my period was actually due, and it showed a thick, clear +
