Paul Palmer43 said:πŸ˜• Hello! This is my first time posting here. I have a quick question: how early can you actually find out if you're pregnant, and could increased discharge be a sign? πŸ˜•

You might see results as early as 10-12 days after ovulation, though a blood test is always the most reliable way to be sure. Anything over 5 mIU/mL is typically considered a positive result. As for the discharge, it can be a sign, but it isn't a guaranteeβ€”it really varies from person to person.

Does anyone know where I can go to get my beta tested?

So, I already have a 2.5-year-old at home. But I know for a fact that when I tested with her, I got a positive result just four days before my period was due! Now, nothing is happening and I'm already two days late. I am so incredibly confused!

I actually had a miscarriage before this, so I'm honestly terrified it might happen again.

If you're already two days late, just grab whatever the cheapest test is at CVS. Good luck. 😘

Ladies, I might be asking this for the hundredth time, but I just took a Victoria's Secret pregnancy test and I think it might be positive. I’m not entirely sure, though. It looks like a plus sign, but the second line is incredibly faintβ€”you can see it, but it isn't very distinct. My assumption is that if there's any trace at all, it counts as a positive, and if it were negative, that second line shouldn't show up at all, right? Honestly, I’m such a mess. 😲

That’s just... wow. Absolutely spot on.

Congrats!

Charles Ramirez59 said:Well, you can grab some tests for about thirty bucks at CVS πŸ™‚

Being totally new to all of this, I walked into the pharmacy and asked for the most reliable early detection test. The clerk recommended a Victoria's Secret brand one that cost $20, but I had no idea there were options for only $10....

But honestly, it doesn't even matter because I've had so many expenses lately that I don't have a single cent left from my last paycheck.. 😬

So back then, $10 it was just out of the questionπŸ™‚

Where is that paycheck...????!!!! It's already the end of the month πŸ™‚

Is it actually possible for a girl to get pregnant if she had her period after having sex? I haven't really looked into this much (maybe I'm just being a clueless boyfriend), but my gut says it's impossible. I'm no expert since I'm pretty careful about protection and all that, but a friend's ex-girlfriend claims she's pregnantβ€”test was positiveβ€”even though she had her period afterward.🀷

I don't think that's possible. Honestly, maybe she's just messing with him because he broke up with her.

Ladies, please help me out here. If you can give me an answer and explain why, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

My friend, it's rare, but it can happen! It was actually similar for me during my first pregnancy, though the bleeding wasn't nearly as heavy as a typical period. I have no idea what she's experiencing, though.🀷

A friend of mine had such a light period that she didn't even notice anything was wrong. Then, when her cycle skipped the next month, she found out she was already two months pregnant. So yeah, it’s definitely possible.
My mother-in-law actually had her period throughout her entire pregnancy.

I know this girl who had her period for three straight months before she finally went to see her OBGYN, and he just looks at her and goes, "Ma'am, you're pregnant!!!"
So yeah... I'm really not buying that she was lying to him...

I was still having my period while pregnant. For the first two months, everything seemed normal, but then the third month hit and nothing happened. I took a test and it came back positive.
My doctor just looked at me and said, "Ma'am, you aren't just starting; you're already 15 weeks along with a large baby."

I see how it is, haha. Thanks, everyone. I was right, thoughβ€”she started second-guessing herself because the next two tests came back negative, and who knows what else...
