Alright, do I really need to start a whole new thread here?

I mean, there's already a massive megathread for this kind of stuff, right?

And honestly, if you actually look through it, you’ll find the answer to your question sitting right there anyway.

Usually, my cycle is incredibly predictable, always hitting right at the 28-day mark around 2:00 PM, but this month? It's late. It’s only been a few days, but... πŸ˜• I can't shake this gut feeling that I might actually be pregnant.
Apparently, some women still get their period during the first month of pregnancyβ€”is that actually a thing? If anyone here has gone through something similar, I'd really appreciate the insight: πŸ™

Honey, you already have a massive thread dedicated to this over on the other board.Just go grab a pregnancy test to settle the nerves for everyone wondering where they stand.
And hey, if the test comes back positive, congratulations! Congratulations!!!!!!

Mine hasn't arrived yet. It's four days late, but since it was also four days late last month, I'm feeling a bit uncertain...

I'm actually quite nervous, though; I have a strong feeling it's coming...
I haven't bought a test yet because I'm waiting for my salary to clear...

How about you, hiddenscout362? Did yours arrive?

Honestly, given how unpredictable things have been lately, my cycle is completely irregular anyway, so there's really no telling when it might arrive...
Please keep us posted (especially me, πŸ™‚). I really hope everything comes through for you...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. πŸ™‚

Me too! Mine usually runs about ten days late, so I don't even stress about it anymore when it doesn't show up on time 😬

Right. My cycles were irregular too. At one point, I didn't even bother worrying about it. Then, I finally decided to get things back on track. I made a serious appointment with my OB-GYN. I sat down on that exam table, and before he even really looked at me, he just called out from across the roomβ€”you're pregnant. After the exam, he confirmed it was 12 weeks.

I came home and I’ll never forget how much the color of my discharge had changed. Since then, I haven't needed to take another pregnancy test.πŸ˜‰

That's when everything just starts looking... vivid, right? Like the colors get way too intense...

Please. It’ll darken up. It turns this deep, intense red color, and hopefully, the circulation improves.😬 😬 . Grab a mirror, take a look, and you'll see for yourself. There is a massive difference. Honestly, my doctor took one look at me from across the room and just blurted out: "Are you pregnant!?" I actually had to ask: "Who, me?" before I passed out...

I heard that your nipples tend to darken... 😬 I can't even begin to deal with this right now...
Honestly, who's really in a position to say for sure?

So you don't have any kids? Then go ahead and try it once you get pregnant.
You can't honestly tell me you don't see the difference.

I actually checked as soon as I finished reading your post...
and now I'm unsure how things looked before...πŸ™‚

I think it looks a bit reddish, but I can't say for sure if I'm pregnant.πŸ™‚

I bought a test, but I'm waiting until the weekend to see if my period arrives first...

I'll take the test Saturday morning.

So, I figured I’d jump in with everyone else. I picked up a Clearblue test this afternoon and, obviously, I didn't have the patience to wait until morning. I just did it right then and there, and boomβ€”two lines popped up in like ten seconds. I guess my "good news" is arriving a little ahead of schedule! :-)
The baby is definitely wanted, but we weren't exactly expecting things to happen this fast. We're basically just floating in this cloud of pure excitement and total confusion right now :). Since my cycle is pretty irregular, I honestly thought I was just dealing with the usual pre-period stuff: sore, swollen breasts, bloating, those random hunger pangs, and yeah, okay, maybe hitting the bathroom a bit more often than usual, plus tossing and turning in bed for a couple nights... but last month the symptoms felt identical, so I just assumed it was wishful thinking since I ended up getting my period anyway.
Of course, we still need a doctor to confirm everything... I'm just hoping all stays on track. As for everything else, we're just going to take it one step at a time, go with the flow, and see where life takes us!
Mickey Mouse :-) Man, my heart... my heart is just... I don't even know how to describe it, it's beating BRIGHT RED :-)!!!

I visited my doctor today, and he mentioned that the test only triggers at a Dow Jones 50 level or higher. If I’m actually five weeks pregnant, he says my levels should be sitting around 1,000 by now. I took a test two weeks ago and it was already positive, even though I didn't bother waiting for first-morning urine. Bottom line: if you suspect you're pregnant, just take the test.
Based on his math, I would have conceived two weeks ago, which is plenty of time for hormones to show up in a urine sample.

Sorry, but this doesn't really hold up.

According to your tracker, you're 6+2 weeks along. That means conception happened roughly 4 weeks ago, not 2. You could have found out 2 weeks ago.

Also, the specific beta number isn't what matters (other than confirming pregnancy). Theoretically, once you're doing blood work, anything above 5 is considered pregnantβ€”assuming it's early in the cycle, obviously, not if you're already 6 weeks along with a beta of 5. What actually matters is the doubling rate. It needs to roughly double every 48 hours. Whether your initial level is high or low doesn't matter at all, as long as it's rising.

And one more thing, please format that link using URL tags πŸ™‚. Leaving it like this isn't ideal.
