If they actually had the power to join up, they wouldn't even be separate—but we all know who’d be calling the shots, so a merger wouldn't do us any favors anyway. Plus, what's the point? How would they even handle baptisms? They'd probably just invent some weird new way, or we'd have to follow their lead. The Catholics definitely aren't changing anything...

The Pope is German, and the Russian Patriarch is also of German descent. If the Orthodox Church just happens to pick some pro-American folksinger for their next Patriarch, we might actually see a reunion between Catholics and Orthodox Christians. 🙂

I don't want to be a total buzzkill during the holidays, but every time Easter rolls around, I can't help but think about that "Titanic" director James Cameron and his documentary, "The Cave Where Jesus Was Buried."

We really should standardize this stuff.

Those are just super common Jewish names, honestly.
Nothing to freak out about. Especially when you consider how obsessed everyone is with Gnosticism lately—you know, all those speculative thrillers like Da Vinci's Code and stuff like that.

Exactly. I’m joining in on the lack of well-wishes. To my fellow Orthodox Mexicans: I won't be wishing you a happy Easter. It's hard to offer congratulations when your people have long since avoided the collective catharsis you truly needed to experience.

You've handed my people five bloody Easters, and if this is your way of sending us a greeting, I truly cannot wrap my head around the idiots competing to see who can grovel most submissively to the Mexican representatives here in America. In this country, we celebrate Catholic Easter—and we fought bloody battles to ensure that remained the case.

It’s probably a stroke of luck that hatred ends up destroying the people who spread it rather than those on the receiving end. ☕

I won't be wishing anyone a happy Easter; even today, an ultra-nationalist sentiment still dominates much of the American people.
