Hey ladies,
Does anyone actually know how much Diane 35 is going for right now?
I just asked at the local CVS and they told me $140?? Like, for multiple packs?? It makes zero sense to me that they’d be more expensive than Yasmin...

No. I've been on the pill for three years, and I take Uva Ursi all the time because I deal with bladder issues constantly.🙄

I can't believe it's that high. It’s probably for a multi-pack. Though, if your doctor prescribes them, you shouldn't have to pay out of pocket.

Help me out here! I’m currently sipping on some Yaz—and it just hit me that I totally missed my pill on Wednesday. I caught up and took it on Thursday, but then I went and missed again yesterday, Friday. What should I do? I can't exactly call or drop by my OBGYN right now... there was nothing in my instructions about what to do if I mess up like this. Does anyone know the drill, or could someone please call their doctor and ask for me? Please, I'm freaking out.

I was wondering how much time can actually pass between when my period starts and when I take that first pill... like, does it matter if it's 6 hours or 12 hours? I ended up getting my period last night and I was planning on starting the pack this morning, so I guess I'm just overthinking the timing... thanks

I was wondering about this too, and today I finally found an answer from some doctor who says you can do it up until day four, but after that, forget about contraception. I mean, nothing... there's zero guarantee.

Hey, I really need some help here. I’ve been on Yasmin for a super long time now and I’m actually almost at the end of my pack—only about 5 pills left—but today out of nowhere, I had some breakthrough bleeding. This has absolutely never happened to me before, and looking back at the blister pack, I definitely haven't missed a single pill. I have no idea what could be causing this. 😢 Obviously, I'm totally freaking out because my boyfriend and I rely on this as our only form of protection. 😢

How accurate is that "really, really long" estimate? And what were those previous cycles like for you?

Are you taking any other medications alongside Yasmin right now? I ask because certain drugs can interfere with how Yasmin works, which might lead to some unexpected spotting or bleeding...

Honestly, I have no idea what the reason could be. I’ve been on Yasmin for two and a half years now, and my cycle has become perfectly regular—hitting on the exact same day every single month. It’s wild because before I started taking the pill, my cycle was incredibly irregular...

You don't have to be afraid right away... 😉

It’s been about three years now, give or take...

I haven't touched any pills lately. Honestly, up until this point, I was always gaining weight like crazy—just ballooning out of nowhere—but this is actually the first time it's happened to me. And the kicker? I only started taking them because my cycles were becoming an absolute disaster.

I'm not quite sure what the reason could be then... Could it be the change in climate? Though I'm not certain how much that matters if you're on the pill... It didn't seem to affect me.

Ladies,
I take my Novynette pills at 7:00 PM every day—standard routine. Yesterday, I missed my dose entirely, so I took it the moment I woke up at 7:30 AM.
That falls within a twelve-and-a-half hour window rather than the strict twelve-hour mark—plus, this is the second-to-last pill in my pack before the break—so I am uncertain if I need to maintain seven days of backup protection? Also, should I start the next pack immediately without taking a break??😕

Honestly, if I were you, I’d just take a break... though I wouldn't know about using extra protection. It's possible... but I'm really not sure. I'd probably rather just skip sex for those 7 days entirely 😁 (I'm seriously not a fan of condoms 😁)

As far as I know, if you miss your pill in week three after having sex that month, two things can happen:
Stop taking the pills immediately. Take a seven-day break, then resume the regular schedule—meaning, don't take that last dose. Or else.
Finish the last pill, then start the next pack immediately. No seven-day break.

If you haven't had any real relationships, just finish this last drink. Take a break. Act like nothing ever happened. 🙂

Yeah, I’ve got a question too. Spoke with my OB-GYN over the phone. Appointment is set for Monday.

Here’s the situation. I'm on Triquilar, which uses that delayed-release packaging. I missed a pill for the first time, and now I have absolutely no clue what day or week it actually is. I’m completely lost. As a result, I started bleeding halfway through the pack—probably because I missed a dose around then, though I can't be certain—and it hasn't stopped. It's been 15 days straight. It's just light spotting, nothing heavy, but it won't quit.

Ginić tells me I have to take a month off. Wait for my regular period to hit, then start on a new pack.

They’re moving me to Logest. 😕

So, he’s a doctor, but I want to hear from you all. What has your experience been like with your physicians? Isn't there supposed to be a rule against taking such short breaks with pills—like only a month? Isn't that hard on a body that's already adjusted to hormones?

He’s juggling these pills, switching me from one to another. Thinking about changing him.

Actually, you don't necessarily have to take a break at all when switching between different types of pills. Some girls just finish their current pack, take their standard 7-day break, and then move right onto the next one. Don't sweat it too much!😉

What kind of packaging does Triquilar use these days? When I was on it, I had those little stickers you could attach to the pack, and it clearly showed the day underneath—plus the weeks were color-coded, so I always knew exactly which pill I was taking.

I used Logest after Triquilar too, though I don't quite remember how long of a break I took back then.

They totally ditched the round packaging and those little day stickers. It’s such a mess now! Honestly, I even messed up once myself, but at least it was within the first week. I couldn't even tell which day I missed!

I get that, but he wants me to take a month off. I don't see the point. I can pick right back up with Logest after the break without any issues. It has the same hormone levels as ten of those yellow Triquilar pills, so it’s not like there's going to be some massive spike or crash. 😁

Maybe they think I might be pregnant, just to prove I'm not after a month. I wasn't on protection the whole time; I didn't realize I missed a dose. If I hadn't started spotting for no reason, I wouldn't have even thought to count my pills. 🙄

No, there's no circular packaging here. It’s that elongated style—similar to what you see with Yasmin or Logest. The catch is they don't mark the specific days on every single tablet. Instead, they use numbers. The sequence starts with Sunday at number one, and the days are only explicitly listed up until the first Monday. Not sure how else to put it, but it looks like this:

The tag showing your first day of the week just popped up, so you can check out your writing style! It doesn't have to be Sunday, but man, checking that right now is such a clumsy move on my part.

Hey guys!
So, I was on the Pill for 9 years and I actually stopped taking it about 2 months ago. Is it possible for me to have gotten pregnant during these last 2 months? And roughly how long does it usually take to conceive after you quit the Pill?
