I’m thinking about closing it out since there’s really no point once we fully transition to the dollar.
The real question is whether I should pull the trigger now or just wait until the new year hits.
My plan is to transfer the remaining balance from my account over to Revolut and then head straight to the bank to shut the whole thing down.
What’s been your experience with this?

Just wait—once we hit the New Year, they’re going to start charging fees just to close out an account.

Are they actually charging us for closing accounts now?

I’ve shut down a few accounts over the last couple of years—most recently earlier this year—and I never had to cough up a dime.
